What kind of music do you want for 2k1? techno? classical? soft rock? ect. Tell me some of your ideas of where I could make music for and what kind... :cool:

Music that goes good with video games. Personally I like things with a nice beat :)

If I'm not mistaken isnt the lawsuit only valid if its the same note? Other wise the techno remix's would be illegal but they're not.

If thats true I'm going to copyright three of the most commonly used cords then rake in the dough on copy right infringments. You cant copy right a style. Otherwise Graal would still be infringing copyrights because even though it is not Zelda it does have a distincty Zelda style to it.

I mean if that where true Pepsi could sue Coca-Cola fo comming out with Surge its the same style of soft drink as Mountain Dew no?

I see your point...But some tunes are copyrighted and if you get just a bit close to that tune they may get pissed

I know I didnt mean tune just the general style, Tempo etc.. Not the same tune. Such as the boss music always has a fast tempo with a good beat to it. Sad scenes are kind of drawn out slow songs. Overworld is usually kind of Vibrant music not slow but not fast paced either. Etc...

But yes, Techno Remix's aren't illegal, as long as they don't meantion a trademark name or melody in it (i.e. I put the dying music from super mario, or put the name super mario in the song)

Like the ones on RO (agnarok online) are good. That be awsome for graal.

Copyrights for music sounds are pretty lax. I mean look at classic's theme for the orphanage/newbie house. It's basically a hyped-up, sped-up, FF7 theme song.

But listen to some of the old classic songs. They're very, very repetative and get annoying because of that. But they're basically good... just need to be less repetative.
