I think it makes the game just a little more RP like =P

I think I might make a colour-coding system to separate different types of messages. Like maybe if I made some bad guys set something when they saw you like "The monster eyes you suspiciously and then attacks!" then it'd be in red. That kind of thing.

That all depends. "Can" in terms of necessary skill or "can" in terms of available time? Plus I don't even know what this dome should do.

Improvements from normal football:
1:Quarterback throwing (sort of like snowball throwing)
Quarterbacks have like 5 seconds to throw the ball or they can be tackled
2:Players should beable to dive into a player to tackle them knocking both people to the ground
3: better Onsides for both players or if a player of the other team isn't behind the ball (for the correct team) the ball switches to the other team or something
4: Make it so the bomy looks for a team comes out on the field bangs head and the game is underway (just for fun )
5: Skill stats (Running, Throwing, tackling?)
6: the ball centers itself
7: when sitting the view shifts to ball?
Just a general list >=)

I think my principles forbid me from making a game named "Football" when it is not actually football in reality, but rather an American interpretation thereof.

Pretty much yeah... Football is originally soccer, and it makes sense, You kick ball with yur feet but how exactly is Football related to American Football?

American football is a variation of Australian football, it has nothing to do with soccer.

I think you're a little confused, Kaimetsu. American football is not a "copy" of football... they are two comletely diferent games. American football is a variation of Australian football, actaully. What you call Football, we call Soccer, this seems to be the focus of your confusion.

I think you're a little confused about the chain of events. English football existed before Australian or American football, each of the plagiarist nations simply stole the name for their own sports. Cos that's the American way, yeeha.

Me neither, to tell the truth. I think most sports are more mindless and tedious than almost any other form of entertainment. I'd watch a thousand episodes of DBZ or WWF events before I'd watch one football match.
