Medivia's Levels
 

Roms: Ok, as some of you may know, I am working on a server called Medivia, I have posted about it in playerworlds forums but im also gonna post it here in the levels editing forum, ill just show you the map along with one of the levels, I want you to rate the map (so far, not done of course, if it was we'd be submitting...durrr) and rate the level coolness, thank yo ufor yoru time people ;)

Ok your obviously a poser, with the level generater outside.And you add some other tiles to look good.U can tell you are from the map you made, its missing some sections.

That's probably one of the best maps I've ever seen, same goes for the levels!

It's sorta obvious he used it to link the levels, and that's it. LevelGen can't come anywhere near that.

Roms: that was awfully rude, I'm sorry your a bit slow to even see it, but didn't i say that the server is not done (your such an idiot, and im not trying to look good) and the only reason level generater was used is because it is easier for levels to be connected then having to LINK THEM MANUALLY!, so do us all a favor and jump off a cliff, then there will be one less idiot in this world.

That looks really good, i hope you guys have good content also.

Nice, creative usage of tiles, good detail, however, your outsides are a bit cluttered with cliffs and some of your tiles just doesn't look right. Like the walls in the last screenshot.

mmmmkay: I agree completely, and on that map it is like all cliffs and waters and beach over and over and over again....quite repetitive. :( But don't get me wrong it's a beautiful map. Also those first few screenshots..maybe some water stone and water ripples would look nice.

I really hope this project will be finished, it's so beatiful. The most beatiful map I've ever seen. But nothing is perfect. ;)

Roms: Your right, but its gonna take alot of patience and time, so it wotn be for a while, and it will get done =), I did it before, and this project has gone farther then any others i have made,(it all takes hardwork and expierence of the graal tiles)

I think the map is fantastic and the levels are excellent. I'm looking forward to seeing more. This is a playerworld worth waiting for. :) :)

That triangle castle wall design was ripped directly from the inside of a playerhouse on the playerworld X.

Of course, it could just be that the same person made both levels, but if they didn't then that's pretty lame.

Also, I have to agree with the others, while the level quality is very nice, the levels are too cluttered with cliffs and things, it looks hard to move around in the levels.

Most of the levels you posted look more like something someone would make just to show their level making skills with waterfalls and cliffs and things.. not what you would see on every level of a playerworld. The map zoomed out looks nice and detailed, but the levels are a bit too cluttered. If there was more flat land or at least some groomed looking stuff it would be a lot better.

He's a poser for using the level generator? That would make g2k1 and a lot of other playerworlds 'posers'. You obviously have no idea what you are talking about, if you're saying he's a poser because he editted the levels if he made it with the level generator... then sir you are stupid. Good job on the levels btw.

Did you ever think that maybe he just made a design that looks like the one on "X"? And "stealing" designs isn't really a bad thing, that's how levels improve, you take ideas from other people and intergrate them into your own work, possibly giving the design a new purpose or a new look... It's stealing levels and NPCs and saying that they're your own is what's lame.

But that design sticks out like a sore thumb, and it's a very nice design. I dislike when other people basically copy someones levels and say they made them.. they didn't make them, they just copied someone elses level design and changed some tiles.

I have only seen that pyramid thingy one time and that was on X. I am not complaining about it being used by someone else, I'm just saying it's rather lame to make basically the same building design in the same type of inside room, and then claim you made it.

I don't see "And don't you love the triangle design I created?" anywhere, all it is is a design... What you're saying is like saying someone who paints in the same stlye as Picaso (sp) is "stealing" his work...

Hmmm, I'm pretty sure I've seen that design on lots of servers.
And besides that, I know Viktor and Nishoku are not the type to steal something from someone else's levels.

All designs I have made were all thought up by me, and that triangle thing that yoru talking about, that yo useen on X, uhhh I dunno because I ve never played X, and btw everyoen thanks for the advice ill stop usign so many cliffs, itll be that particular region thats hilly, it'll give it more realistic taste

OOOOO I KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN, THE TRIANGLE THING Lol, ok I admit i did steal it, but I stoel the idea fro,m mmmmmmkay, not X, me and mmmkay always copied one another on faheria =), anyways, I mean, botihng wrong with triangle walls, its like critisizing servers for having regular castle walls with no rythm to them (which alot of servers have)

Whats so bad about level generator? Sure... people can spend tons of time making everything, linking it but it wouldnt be much different than level gen! It saves time and lets people focus on CONTENT which I beileve is more important than looks(unless the gfx just suck big time(all grass no detail))
