Movin' on up... Delterian Style.
 

Since our server has improved drastically we have been able to get our population high.. We are even attracting people that used to hate Delteria like crazy :) Our outside levels are coming along great, new classes and jobs are being scripted, tons of long and hard quests are in progress, and Del's first map will be uploaded this Saturday (I'll post a link to it here when it's done as well.)

So what does all this mean? It means that Delteria should move up in the serverlist, at least to our old spot. If possible, maybe we could even be put above N-Pulse since our population has slightly been doing better than theirs :) If this can't be done, I understand but moving up, at least to our old spot, can atract many more people and expose them to the most improved server on Graal (and eventually the best server on Graal.)

Well, its a good thing to the extent that, 9/10 of Graal are newbs so of course your server attracts a large population. I guess in the end, the best servers for Stefan are the ones that please the newbs, right? Right.

Im not trying to offend you, Ive been on Del, the outside level design is quite nice. But with that said, it is still very newbish, wrather it be the server itself or the people on it.

With that said, I think all server staff should look at places like Delteria and inspire to not just become like that but be better than that. To attract all the new players as well as the old. I think a server that could group newbs and oldbies together as Classic once was (or still is?) would be truly a server worth playing.

The best servers for Stefan are those that make money, not free ones like Deleteria, Classic, N-Pulse, UN etc.

True... But players would not be upgrading their accounts to use p2p servers if they did not have something to base their opinion of graal on. Do you think they would just go to a online game and buy an account without playing the game first? So if you think about it, the p2p servers (besides graal2001/2002) really don't make people upgrade, they may however make them renew their subscription or keep them busy while playing Graal... It is the popular free servers that encourage them to upgrade their account or show them the capabilities of Graal.

Makes no sense man. Anyways, get rid of the old levels. The level near the jousting place should be redone entirely. Out with the old and in with the new.

I actually play Delteria a lot. Probably 30 minutes a day at some points. The levels you guys have edited are great, some of the best houses I have seen, except there are still those ugly levels down south. I hope you guys can get our account resets soon, and try to limit the amount of hearts. Thank god you guys are getting a map, I never thought that would be possible with Delteria.

not quite true, this is the rc list as of 13:45 (1:45 PM for you 12 hours freak) and im at GMT -5:00 which means its huh.. around 7-8M in Germany =P

Thanks Lyndz... we are still working on redoing a lot of the levels, so don't be surprised if the ugly ones get fixed up soon :)

I was browsing through the old del. levels and found a very very very old map for it... It's quite funny, since there were only about 20 levels on it. I'll post it after I post the new Delteria one, if I can still find it that is.

Perhaps the Playerlist should sort in the following order: Main worlds, then playerworlds sorted by players online?

That way a big playerworld will automatically be just under Classic, and an old but sucky playerworld will automatically fall to the bottom, nee?

I disagree entirely accept the fact that the level's have improved abit because of Tiamat.. :P.. The new Co-Owner SP AGENT who is rarely every on the server? What's up with that? I see max as Icepick #3 to be. and I see SP agent as Ice pick #2.

SP hasnt done anything with or for the server, so i have seen.. Max has banned 15 account's (Including mine and a few friends) and also has banned a few people that he thought was me because he is sooo paranoid.. I made a guild NDS; at first it was New Delteria sucks, and then changed onto Never drop the soap (some of the staff of delteria where also in it)... ^.^ That's the reason for all the ban's ;P. Oh, if ya go on the server with the nickname Knuckles, you'll also be banned :p.

Knuckles has been harassing my staff members and myself because we did not ask him to work on delteria again.. First off, Knuckles isn't even a good LAT... we took down the majority of his levels because they are of poor quality... Second off, if you are interested in getting a job, you apply professionally... you don't wait for them to ask you and then complain and harass them if they don't. Knuckles was first given a warning, then jailed when he did not follow that warning. Then, he went on other accounts to harass us and make fun of our server, which is known as jail evasion. Usually we let this slide if they stop commiting that offense, but he went on and on, comparing us to "Fidel Castro" and other offensive political figures, using lots of profanity. We then decided to ban his two accounts that he was using because he did not stop. Account after account he logged onto Delteria and kept his same immature attitude up, so we banned those as well. He then took a half-hour break so he could generate more accounts just to harass us, and then continued. No, we do not ban all "Knuckles" we check the ip range first to make sure it is the immature child we are banning.

We can tolerate immaturity to a certain extent, but when you curse and harass us for fun that is pushing the limit. We definantly don't need kids who are mad that they did not get a job distracting and ridiculing our efforts when all we want to do is improve our playerworld.

No Max, you're wrong. You gave NO warning AND I have not harrassed any staff (ALSO you Banned about 5 accounts before you jailed me). BTW, I was asked back plenty of time's and I have turned all the invintation's away. Munki asked and Tiamat even asked me to be Asst Level's Admin. All of the staff on "your" server are my friend's. Man, as soon as i logged onto the server, i was either banned or in jail.. WHILE in ghost stage i was friggen jailed 2wice. Then whent he ghost stage was over, I was auto warped outta jail to the point where I started at... ^^ I was then jailed for "Hacking out of jail" Heh, I didnt even get to type to you max... you where to fast with your right click > ban... I typed to you the 2nd account and told you that you where a idiot because you just outta the blue disconnect me for no reason at all!

1.) Any person with their ISP as AOL has the same IP range as I; hence you should shut up. And also I have logged on with a diffrent nickname and you still banned :). So you stop lieing, k?
2.) I quit Delteria at times, yes because there was too much work, but that was with Ice pick. I was the only one ever working. I did EVERY single thing on that server, accept for a few GP's and FAQ (uploading gif's, making levels, uploading level's, helping people, scripting, graphics, doing your job). I am not jealous.. Remember, at first, I was happy for you. I voted for you.
3.) I could care less if I work for Delteria.. Cloven is LAT Chief while Tiamat is Level's Admin. Tiamat was goin' to hire me as Asst Level's Admin but I didn't wanna come back. Munki asked me to also come back, you know.. Your server admin? Most of the staff on your server have asked me "Why don't ya come back" as well as all the player's. I said no.
4.) Where is SP Agent BTW? He's doing a great job *laughs*.
5.) You lie, you started the whole entire thing.
Remember? I was walking around Delteria and you just disconnect me, for no reason. Or was it because of the OFFICIAL guild NDS (Never Drop the Soap). Well, it wasn't alway's never drop the soap, I changed it to that about a week ago.. I came back and called you a idiot. Then you banned me.

I work more then you know and you go off yapping your little mouth thinking you have the slightest idea about something which you really dont. I have been working on many projects lately but just because I dont go off and brag about them doesnt mean I'm not working. Also as a matter of fact I have been on when I could be, when I'm not on I'm sick in bed because I have been ill for the past week and havent really been out of bed much. The new Delteria is going to be way better then the old which you lie about saying you did all the work and we all know it sucked then so why are you bragging about you doing all the work? lol..I mean I wouldnt brag about some kind of crappy work like that. I see SP Agent on right now. Maximus is a great owner, one of my favorite PW owners. The staff system is setup nice, and the levels (especially houses) are some of the best levels I have seen. There are some old things still around, and I'm glad Icepick is gone. After talking with most of the staff, I came to a few conclusions. The only reason Delteria never died was because of the staff and community. Yes, I hate how about 5 people ask me to go out with them for the 2 minutes I get on, but the staff are very kind and helpful.

Never said you wearnt allowed to play any other games SP. Sp was only on because he read this forum.. And Lynd, i never said the level's where bad.. I like the Houses..

You never give up do you knuckles. I am on A LOT more then you think. I wish you would get off your jealousy trip if that is what it is and give it up. You can sit here and make up all this bull crap stuff as much as you want but it only makes you look dumber and makes people hate you more =/. Ever since i've known you from Delteria back when I was
Legend Xero, you were a nice person to me. And I would love
to have you work on Delteria. And I can understand your
complaints and they are very legit. And as long as people like,
Munki, Blade, and myself are at Delteria Max and SP will never
have the chance to become like IcePick. I think Max should unban
all your accounts and you should be allowed to come back to
Delteria ... But please try to get along. Delteria just got back up
and we dont need to become even worse then it was before
hand... And as for the people who player Delteria I think that
Delteria is jusst a great place for people to spar and have fun ...
I mean most servers are either defined as 'RP' or 'just a place for
fun' and Delteria is just a place for fun. We have a very talented
Level and NPC Administration as well as a hard working Server
Administration ... So I see great plans for Delteria in the future ...

delteria, you may have more players, but npulse players are loyal. They couldnt put you above npulse. Your server isnt half as good as npulse. You have no real events. You have no controle over your server thats why people like it I have seen so many poeple hack and cuss all they want in front of a GP and he helped them hack. also, an FAQ got on his player account and started hacking, I was there. DELTERIA IS CORRUPT
