A good lesson in RPing...
 

This is a quick summary of what happened to my whilest I was RPing the other day. This is not to bash anyone, just to show what could happen in a given situation, such as the one I was stuck in.

Anyway, to begin, I was outside the Dustari gate waiting to be granted permission to enter. My RP character enjoys naps under trees and Dustari has some of the nicest trees to nap under. So I find me the closest one and take a nap. I am later attacked by a rogue Dustari member who eventually steals 6 Gralat from me after running me down on his horse. I was also kicked out by him as well.

Not too much longer, a kind samaritain-type Dustari let me in and took me to a bed to rest...but not before I had collapsed when I had gotten across the bridge. I came to a little afterward and was quickly escorted into a room with a bed upon which, I fell asleep instantly.

Several hours later (some time around midnight IRL) I awake to find a darkened room and the only way out, locked. In a panic, I began to pound on the door and call for help. No response. Eventually, I find myself hungry again and in need of food...the nearest thing...some books on a bookshelf in the back of the room. I then quickly begin to tear out pages and voraciously eat them. Still not satisfied, I wound up eating several whole books.

Then, I was rescued. I ran out of the room gasping for fresh air and was welcomed and offered food and drink which I graciously accepted.

The lesson? Try not to get locked in to dark rooms :x

On another note...I *could* have said leave...but because that is not very RP like, I refused and waitied for real-time assistance.

Whats annoying is when you are RPing and then someone who obviously lacks the skills needed too *cough*Ancients*cough* stars saying things like "You f*cking n00b goddamn ***** shithead" and starts *trying* to PK you. People like that should go to Graal Classic.

I can't believe I'm saying this but...

Delteria doesn't seem that bad anymore. The staff uses perfect grammar, and so does most people on it. The quests are easy, but they're working on getting up new ones and have a few nice levels.

I think FTP is still down, so no links are working ;]

The main thing I like is how staff is not corrupt, and wear their tags, and don't do 100 of those admin messages that make you can't even walk.

It seems most people dislike IcePick...he's in jail right now. I just hate servers that I go on where I can't walk because I have to click ok to admin messages, and I walk into a house and get a full heart.

I think IcePick likes to sue people. Go to the link with the chat with him and the webmaster. Icepick is going to sue Stefan for using his name that Icepick copyrighted ;O

somehow everytime when im resting in a bed casue some ***** hits me with a fireball aimlessly, some dude comes over to me and kills me while im resting....*sigh* oh well

all my RPing comes mostly from card games in the cave :)

heh, I rped my way into the castle once i ws allowed any thing at the bar i wanted. they opeed the door up to the room and i went to sleep for one graalian night. then a guard comes in and goes.
"wtf si j00 doering were>?! git da dan falking helb owt!"

Man i know how you feel.. When you try to rp most people on newmain think you are a crazy bastard or they come by and interupt your rping.. :(

I was hoping to get more comments on the fact that I grabbed books and began to devour them slowly...I apologize to King Kamuii for destroying any possible great work of literature that was kept on that shelf :(

he can't do that, anything submitted to graal online becomes property of graal online.
