so what happened to npulse?
 

i remember this server being among the most fun graal servers to play on why was it pulled from the hosted servers list last time i saw it it had an almost constant 30-40people minimum? and would it be possible to restore it to its former glory

Its been awhile since it was on the classic list. Recently, N-Pulse was forced into retirement.

I miss my server.
I'm forced to play Unholy Nation and I hate it.

im not sure why npulse decided to withdraw from the list, sure things were looking pretty grim at the time with regards to playercount but it seemed like years then went by without there ever even being a plan established

By retired they mean globals have denied anyone reviving the project at this point in time. So to revive it you have to start from scratch, because they will not provide you with any backups. I think technically were not even allowed to discuss the reasons why the server was shutdown due to the nature of the reason.

Aly (Ducati) is banned from Graal. Otherwise, she would still be working on the project.
I have backup's but Stefan said he refused to allow it back up because as scriptless said the nature of the situation.
Otherwise I myself along with my others would gladly try to restore it HOWEVER, Now that Stefan is out of the game there IS a possibility we could restore it.

I heard from a global that it wasn't allowed at this time. Unless they give us a green flag it won't happen.

N-Pulse was a nice Server... just like Doomsday or Babylon

Stephen hasn't been pwa for quite a while now. Possibly was Gabriel tho.

We had a project going on my dev server with many people who felt the same way..
Sent in a ticket.We got a reply that n-pulse wouldnt come back as an active server.. not much of a reason was given..
Asked if we could even keep deving the server in hopes n-pulse could be brought back, but the answer was no im afraid. Was told to work on something new.
Gab said i had to send in a ticket for stefan he had to make the call.. I sent one marked for stefan and got the reply that n-pulse wouldnt come back.. but no one signed it.. so i dont know if it was stefan himself.. but that was the answer.

Well like I said before maybe now that Stefan is out of the game we can get it going.
But, We would need Unix approval.

i dont think it was stefan replying to those tickets, if he had an ulterior motive (which is likely given the nature of why npulse was seized) he would just not respond

Unixmad helps maintain the support centre.

It's better to go direct to the source. I logged on to NP's dev server and he's the only person that has access- staff=unixmad;

makes sense as it was a financial related issue

I've tried everything. Stefan's decision was backup by a previous a PWA member at the time though. Times have changed obviously, and with that said i think its best N-Pulse comes back correct, before begging to be back. I'll get ahold of the regulars and so what we can get going.

I'm going to be busy for the next few days.
Once I'm back I'll get ahold of you on Skype Matt.
Hopefully with our usual crew we can hopefully get something going.

You said hopefully with the usual crew you can get something going again. Not sure if your just not listening to what you said or what other people have said. The server is not going to be allowed to be developed. Not even if you bought a server of your own and uploaded backups of your own. You said crew, which implied developers and not PWA. And I'm not the only one that thought you ment that Matt also says O.o. basically in 2012 I warned everyone about ducati back when all she was doing wrong was stealing graphics from other people and uploading copy written images from google. She should have been removed on the spot but the PWA team let her continue and she took it too far. And people are still praising her for even after she got the server banished.

Ducati is out of the picture and she's banned. So what your saying is don't even try at all?
The only reason why I said it may have even had a chance is because Stefan is out of the picture.

You need approval before you just go making a server. Do you even read the terms you agree to in this game or do you do what ever you want get banned and cry ab out it like always? You have no authority to upload any content to any server. PWA said no as of yesterday to anyone taking it over. Regardless of ducati.

Lol, I don't know what crawled up your ass but take it elsewhere. Your negative comments are pissing me off. I get what PWAs have said reguardless we will still try to do what we can to get our server back. The worse they can keep saying is no.

Or if you attempt to upload there files on another server they can punish the community by permanently not allowing it. Think about it for a second, we are being punished for something Ducati did and only told "not at this time". You go doing stuff disregarding them and that can easily change to "permanently". We really don't need any more negative publicity to our homeland. I am not saying to give up, but you have to follow protocol, or you risk ruining it even more for all of us. Is it worth it?

So then what do you suggest guy?

I suggest patiently waiting for good things to happen ;) and not giving them a reason to crush your dreams. After-all, good things comes to those who wait.

If you are told no, you just have to wait. If it happens, it happens, if not, there is nothing more you can do.

Ducati and Matt tried to sell NPulse content, thats why it got forbidden to dev on I think.
