Release: Nihil Coin Shop
 

Starting Today, Graal Kingdoms now has several unique temporary and permanent changes which are available from the "Nihil Shop" (located in Bomboria at the old Easter Shop).

There are many new buffs available, ranging from temporarily increasing your mana to permanently changing your God -- and even one to give you the upper hand when betting against Tigbot.

All of these buffs can be traded between players, but in order to buy a buff from the new shop you must purchase these advantageous updates with Nihil Coins, readily available from the Gelat shop.

Packages are available as listed below:

50 Nihil Coins for 800 Gelats
100 Nihil Coins for 1500 Gelats
220 Nihil Coins for 3000 Gelats

Note: Shop will be opened at 00:00 Server Time!

How big are these advantages? Wouldn't it make more sense to sell cosmetic items (like custom clothes) or other items which don't give advantages in PvP on the gelat shop? Seems like GK has a lot of neat opportunities for gelat items that aren't being used.

I completely agree with this. pvp based advantages are terrible. however customizations seem to be pretty huge in alot of games and tends to make more sense. We will have to wait for it to open and see.

Yeap, we can add some cosmetic items.

Please remember that these items can be freely traded, there are no trade restrictions. For example, if Alan has several nihil coins or scrolls which you would like to buy you can make an offer. If Alan accepts your offer he can trade these items to you on the trade table or through item drop the same way everyone normally does.

This could make for a very interesting playershop (run from a player house).

Only items being tradable or god change ect too?

Great update. I like the balance in buffs and the prices for each. :p

Someone post what you can buy I waited as long as I could fir shop but had to leave for work and pullin a 12 hour shift.. Going crazy over here not knowing..

I would also be interested to know what the barrels give as prizes.

The barrels work similiar like the mystery boxes, instead they have a much higher drop rate of rare items. So basically they could drop anything.

The buffs have a nice price balance, however, the barrels feel very pay-to-win. It sounds like it is all powerful items in the barrels (Though I could be completely wrong)

*edit* I completely redact that previous statement, the demonstration pretty much showed it's $38 for a tig

Everything could be in the barrels, not all of them can win :) That's why they are called mysterious. Its always risky

The shop has its ups and downs. Only ups are the envelopes. Downs the barrels. 38 Dollars for a Tier 3 barrel that wlll give me a heart shield or a tig bot item doesn't seem fair.. Sure it's fair for GK's side since it's putting that money back into Graal but then the person who buys get's a tig thats worth another tig... very harsh. So ya +1 to shop just wish the barrels didn't exist.

yeah prices need to be adjusted a bit.

I think the barrels are fine, considering you can get any item in game. It's a gamble, a risk, and if you don't win then it sucks for you.

You may not like or want the barrels, but other players might. ^^

$38 is more than a risk for a broken game with no population

Prices are fine. They are actually really cheap.

But if you win a BoRD or Soccer boots you are quiet happy investing this 38$, so where is the issue now? Not everyone can win. That's how it is.

On a serious note, you don't have to buy it if you don't want to. There's plenty of other options, like the lesser barrels or buffs.

I raised the droprates of all nihil barrels :) Even the smallest one has a good chance to drop something really nice.

Are they called Nihil coins, as in Nihilistic, because they don't really matter?

Congrats to the team of developers who helped make this possible, during the last 7 days of launch the Nihil shop has been a great success.

Big thanks to the players who participated; can't wait to see the incredible seasonal and holiday updates as we continue to improve shop selection and pricing. :D

Moving forward we will also be rewarding event winners with Nihil coins and maybe even paying staff in Nihil. I want to make this shop ACCESSIBLE!

Cool. I was wondering who else would monetize the graal shop, glad to see there's something to spend gralats on besides worker potions on Era :)

Fantastic additions to the Nihil Coin Shop as these are essential items for every player striving to become stronger it should help give a boost to NC sales, great job and thank you Nico!

Looking forward to the new clan creation update, a very interesting new feature curious to see where it goes actually.

Ahh, clan creation, I assume this will block global guilds like some other servers?

Thats what they tell me. It would be sad yes, as I would no longer be able to tag Scriptless (Storm) on gk.. but they would add some benefits. Hopefully this doesn't cause people to split activity between kingdom tag, or clan tag. I figure that could get messy but its still unclear until implements as to how it will actually preform and thats going to be interesting.
