why are yall killing v5, over 1.4 of all graalins use v5 cuz v6 is still so ****ing bugged out its not funny

why do i keep getting this v6 migration crap, to a site that dont have the real downlod like for a v6

Not sure what you mean by "over 1.4" since that doesn't make sense in any way but about 80% of Era was using v6 last time I checked (a few months ago).

mend 1/4 and in one forth as in a quarter

v5 ran so much smoother, i mean for **** sake i dont have "open gl" graphics so v6 dont run very well,

v5 was blocked for trials only and during the disconnection a popup is displayed to notify them. The reason it's being blocked is because current hacks only work on v5 (correct me if I'm wrong?) and by blocking v5 for trials we are decreasing the hacking that goes on. Players wouldn't want to risk their own accounts, obviously, so they use trials.

Best guess though, that's the only reason I'd want v5 removed.

the hacks cant be that bad..all they do is summon a bunch of pixels and lag **** out.

It's actually been removed, but that doesn't mean two weeks from now Stefan won't disables v5 completely.

except a couple small details v6 is better. unless you have 16gb ram or something you can't raid and stream stuff at the same time on v5

Presumably, among other things, a giant lack of security updates, a lack of functionality with new scripting, and general improvements (or what the developers assume are improvements) on the software.

Didn't you quit the game like six times already in the past two months?

i'll respond to your points.
i'm a player, not a developer.
thats why things like new scripting and improvements for developers should be beyond me, they are just things in the background.

the only part that really concerns me and other regular players about the client is how it looks and feels. on this aspect i don't think v5 and v6 improved things at all, and this is why i prefer the other versions (and i know i'm not alone on this!).

It doesn't help that the client actually used to look like a game's menu before, now it looks like a kitsch flash game hub that I just might see advertised on Nick Jr.'s website.

Visually and aesthetically, perhaps you're right. But you probably also wouldn't like thousands of trial hackers running around messing up your gameplay.
Furthermore, new updates (generally?) meant newer/more scripting options, which means the developers can do more stuff. For you.

What's more important, a good game, or a good shell around it?
Also, don't speak for all 'regular' players. I prefer v5 and v6 over previous versions, and am sure some others do as well.

Finally..while I agree that for a non-staff player, development is a background thing, don't think for a second it doesn't directly affect you. To think so would be incredibly dumb

I would love thousands of trial hackers. I think thousands of any kind of player would be great. Graal can hardly muster scores of players.

And that's why the improved security is a laughable point. There's nothing to secure.

And the development end of it? I'm pretty sure the servers I played on previous clients were just as (if not more) enjoyable than what passes now.

Ha, yeah, thousands might be a large overstatement. But,any hackers is still bad.

Uh, by thousands, he means a couple of players who just get banned over and over again. Sure the total could be a thousand, but it's really just a few players who get banned and keep coming back on another trial. And around the circle goes!
