Gelats or Gralats?

Which term do you prefer for Graal's staple currency?

Ducati_Link 08-17-2012 04:01 AM

I actually call it Gralet - probably due to accent.

DustyPorViva 08-17-2012 04:07 AM

Rupees.

cbk1994 08-17-2012 04:40 AM

Do you mean the global currency used for purchasing subscriptions (gelats), or in-game currency on classic servers?

Draenin 08-17-2012 04:49 AM

In-game currency.

ff7chocoboknight 08-17-2012 05:01 AM

Rupees.

Afaik Gelat pre-dated Gralat.

Cloven 08-17-2012 07:52 PM

Perhaps we could just call the currency Breadz.

MattKan 08-17-2012 10:43 PM

Gelats - Subscription Stuff
In Game - Gralats

gravator 08-18-2012 12:24 AM

I use the term gralat, it makes sense to me to have an in game currency that sounds like the name of the land you play in, graal - gralat.

Hezzy002 09-13-2012 08:26 PM

why does it have to be called gralat why can't we just call it cash money

FaLLChiLD 09-14-2012 10:30 AM

Rupees. True.

DeCeaseD 09-15-2012 12:11 AM

Draenin 09-23-2012 08:27 PM

Also, does anyone remember the *original* gralat amounts?

Like what colors they were, and what they were worth?

kia345 09-23-2012 08:47 PM

Green is one, blue is five (?), red is twenty, yellow is one hundred, or so I thought.

Needs more color variations.

Can Purple be a 200 and then Orange be 500?

I'm asking about the original colors, not any of the ones that were made after that. It's a question about Graal History.

I've heard that reds were originally 20 or 30, but there seems to be some disagreement over that. Which was it?

Nabru 09-24-2012 03:08 AM

Green - 1
Blue - 5
Red - 30
Gold - 100
Black - 1000

Nah, red were always 30. People might have gotten the impression that they were 20 from Zelda but they have always been 30 in Graal. Also Black has never been official and it's whatever whoever made the NPC for it decided to make it.

Yeah, I saw on youtube comments somewhere something about extra colors like black and white and rainbow and other crap, but I just needed to know about the original colors. Thanks a lot!

Most people say dollars in my opinion. I haven't had someone ask me 'I'll give you a 1000G' in years. It is always "I'll give you $5000 for that gun"

Did some pearl diving on Graal2001 last night, it took forever to get enough pearls for 1 gralat. 7 white pearls for 1 gralat, 2 pink ones to get 1 gralat, and I forget how many black pearls it takes.

Draenin 11-05-2012 07:16 AM

Definitely useful information. Thanks all.

LebJoe 02-18-2017 01:04 PM
