Gani's

Since i wanted to extend my horizon i tried to go out and make some gani's. I know my past isn't the greatest due to stealing and such i have now made my own gani's which i find easier to do then a graphic. So please don't be too harsh on my first gani.

Looks pretty good!
Keep making ganis! You're one of the few that's good at them.

Thanks since this is the first one in a while. i really appriciate all the feedback i get. I have fun finding new things to use in the graalshop editor.

Good start man. More power to ya, i feel like there is a huge lack of talented gani designers out there. Keep up the good work.

Couldn't agree more.

Yadha s!

I didn't load the gani, however in the picture you have "singledir = true".. Remember that gani's have 4 directions just like players. singledir = true will simple make it so it's 1 animation regardless of direction.

Other then that, great work. Keep it up.

You have a lot of talent with this area of development. Keep at it and you could be well on your way to being a professional. Also, how does it feel to be probably the only active gani developer on Graal? Sucks doesn't it.

I think everyone can make ganiīs and if itīs required is doing them. Itīs not the same as with sounds.

Just because he's the only person posting crap about ganis doesn't mean he is the only "gani developer."

Supaman771 09-07-2011 02:08 AM

Pretty sure just about any person whose messed around with the gani editor can make that. And most Graphics people on Graal also dabble in Ganis.

I mean, even Wil Soul can gani.

Gani artists are a dying breed, not because of lack of interest, but because of the lack of needing a full time gani artist. On Era we don't have any full gani artists, but almost everyone on the team can create nice ganis.

That's pretty much what I mean, it's a pretty simple process that most anyone who is a 'developer' can take the extra time to gani it themselves.

Like Derek making his metal helmet recently, or Alfonso making his own guns.

You don't exactly see someone do JUST ganis anymore.

This is true, however at the same time, there's not really much of a need of ganis and or a ganis artist other than when the project is just beginning or when there's a major addition to an existing project and that's why gani artist's are more or less a "dying breed".

It's like being American, no one cares that you are then the American's around you and chances are if you're a mixed American, they'll be more interested in your non-American heritage then the American heritage.

TheRuckus 09-07-2011 07:30 PM

I just wanted some feedback on the gani part. I don't even wanna become a full time gani (well maybe). It's just to show what i had in my mind and made it in the editor.

I am still around. I don't make a lot of ganis because i can't take how tedious it is with the current graalshop. Plus i prefer to work with custom bodies.
