Formal Declaration of War against Dustari
 

To the court of Dustari.

This notice is to formally announce Samurai's declaration of war upon the kingdom of Dustari. This state of war shall remain until demands set forth by Samurai in this document are met. The reasons for this declaration are as follows:
1) The permitting of hostile attacks against members of Dustari during their training exercises by the King of Dustari.
2) The harboring of war refugees from the Zormite-Samurai war, some of whom were enemy combatants.
3) Publicly insulting and attempting to deface the honor and prestige of Samurai.

The demands by Samurai to Dustari for an end to this war are as follows:
1) Abdication of the current King of Dustari from the throne and the allowance of the Tennou of Samurai to select a new leader.
2) The return of all refugees from the Zormite-Samurai war into Samurai custody.
3) Formal apology from Dustari's people to the Samurai for their public insults.

This state of war is effective immediately. Our forces are mobilizing for invasion and you have approximately eight days (6/19/2011 2:00PM EST) to submit to the demands of Samurai, or have these demands forced upon you.

Most Zormitian loyalists will go to help Samurai in the upcoming war if the agreements are not met, the Samurai Military has every ounce of Zormite support and we will stay allied until the end.

We're not warring over Dustari because you and Drk can't pvp, can't handle Dripz, and can't come to grips with your menstrual cycle.
Come at us in bmode if you're even able to, we'll gladly put you in place.

As far as I see it it's a demand, not an offering to you. You either surrender your Kingdom or you accept the war. If you feel you're superior, have your shot at it.

This squabble is beneath me. Your terms are not accepted, you will make these amendments to the conditions of warfare:

1) There will be no returning of refugees from the Zormite-Samurai conflict. This is called slavery, it can neither be enforced or expected to be.
2) There will be no open warfare (the inclusion of allies). I have taken note of your current forces, moving Zormite troops into Samurai to assist you on a childish feud that you cannot conclude on your own will not be permitted. As such, the same is expected of Dustari and her allys.
3) The date proposed, 19.6.2011 is not possible. The date and time will be discussed and agreed on, not imposed to suit your schedule alone.
4) Once it is all said and done I will have it widely known, that Bmode is not for the weak, it is not for the in-training, it is not for levelling, it is for battle and battle alone. The rewards that come with the risk are experience bonuses, the reverse is a ridiculous notion (that pvp is a reward for bonus exp :noob:).
5) The abdication of the throne goes both ways.

It is boring, its held together (to what extent..) by community, playerkilling, events and trading. And not much of anything other than community happens.

The Crescent Pirates will not be getting involved in this squabble. We believe if war is declared by Samurai, on Dustari then that is how it should be. We are in full support this idea:
We will respect this rule and not act unless the rule is broken. If so we will be duty bound to respond by assisting our allies only if and when called upon to do so. In the interest of keeping the battle fair.

Any threats directed towards Crescent Pirates or any of our members, by either party, leading up to or throughout the war will be deemed an act of war.

Is there going to be a planned date soon?

In my humble opinion (lol), wars are really fun and should be done more often.

But, doing a war for the throne of the kingdom becomes so personal and dramatic that is not funny.

I expect the replies like: "what's the point of making a war if there are not going to be risks, rewards or detriment?", well, i'm not sure how many here are willing to play this game for self-satisfaction or "gaining something" rather than just get fun...

I'd suggest then, that the winner kingdom of a war get something like money for the kingdom to help the member's economy, like Majin suggested in other thread*, or get NPC prizes like ECs, gems, etc.

But this might be the wrong thread to post this lol.
