Hello,
My server "Dev Astram" is basically for anyone who is a good dev! I am prepared to let someone come on and manage it. Please be a good dev, I'll take applications for the server. If your application is good consider Dev Astram as your server! I will take no specific role in the creation of your server, unless I feel its needed. We want something good! ADDING MORE TO YOUR APPLICATION WILL INCREASE YOUR CHANCES! If you have a complete project just send us that btw ;)

-INFORMATION-

1) How long have you played Graal Online?

2) Account Name?

3) Community Name?

4) Are you gold?

5) Include all your bans, we can check. Don't lie.

6) Include your record as staff. Like where you have worked, what have you done.

-DETAILS-

7) Why would you be a good manager?

8) What would be your standings for someone to be hired?

9) About how long will you be online and working a week?

-EXPERIANCE-

First of all, we would like a manager who can do about all developement...

(If you can't do a developement position listed here, don't include anything for the dev in the application)

10) -LAT-Include 10 outside levels, 10 inside levels, and 15 levels of your choice
(This will go on your GMAP)

11) -NAT- Include 5 useful weapons, 10 classes, and 2 DBNPCs
(Preferably GS2)

12) -GFX- Include 2 graphics for each type of graphic, shields, swords, images, heads... etc.

13) -GAT- Make 5 gani's

Hey, you notice they basically get their own server...

It is like your asking them to build your server without even hiring them.

You will never find a qualified Manager, cause they also buy there own Server with FULL power. Right?

Your inability to create a reasonable application and the blatant job description error ultimately dooms your player-world from having even a remote chance.

Based on the public display of your experience (none) you should be aiming for anyone to help you really not setting the gate of entry in the sky.

You can simply type "/openaccess accountname" in RC chat. It loads up the ban window from which you can also access the ban history.

I kind of forgot if you need ban rights or not to do that.

Well I've never bought a server, But I find that strange that you can see any bans from any server..

Yes, you need ban rights to view banning history.

How so? Their bans are mostly relevant to the behavior of the person and it can be useful in many occasions to view peoples ban history. For example, if a person has a history for server destruction it's probably not a good idea to hire them as Manager of your Playerworld.

Well, I guess it makes sense. However my point is if you are going to deny someone due to their ban history its just another reason why your not going to get anyone decent...

In general bans from UC servers are mostly ignored or not taken as seriously over bans from Gold/Classic Servers. It is fairly safe to say if somebody is banned on Era for Speed Hacking, then they were most likely using a speed trainer, but if they were banned on a UC server for the same reason it wouldn't be taken as seriously because the person who banned them may not have banned them for the correct reasons.

Taking my ban history as an example. All of the bans apart from the most recent and the first one in 2006 were people messing around when I had my server.

What you're asking for is unreal if you wish the server to be used.

When you are not the Payer of the Server then you will have NEVER full rights of it, u understand? You can have full RC rights yes but still the server wont be urs. A good Manager with good Skills can pay for his own Server though.

Oh, and the grammar of that is absolutely horrible. *It demonstrates that you do not know how to use a sentence correctly, which I think is rather sad. *Also, there is not really a difference between GAT and GFX, except GAT stands for Graphics Admin Team, and GFX stands for Graphics....admin team.

Let's use our imagination. *If someone were to apply (which isn't gonna happen), and they were a good developer (which isn't gonna happen), and they were to make a good server (which isn't gonna happen), you would suddenly pop up and state that "the content is yours", declare yourself manager, and start bossing the developer around, along with any staff he hired. *Is this some desperate idea to make a good server? *You seem to like to envision you are above everyone else, and that honestly isn't the case. *You need to go back to square one and learn how to not be a noob all over again.

Just pointing out, I use GAT to mean gani team and GFX to mean graphics team. Not common usage, but my personal wording.

I hate the abbreviations GAT, LAT, NAT ect.. I prefer if they are called Graphic Arists or just Artist, Levels Team and Scripter/Coder.


If you can't/don't develop, then no offence but your opinion won't be valid. This is why good developers don't want to do "their server" on someone else's server, because it will never to be theirs, and the owner, who problem knows jack **** about development will be harassing them and bugging them about doing something which probably isn't a good idea anyway. If you're going to give free reign to a Manager to come in and make something happen then do that and leave them too it, they don't need you looking over their shoulder all the time.

And after all, you're paying for it so DO NOT give it to some nobody who couldn't manage You couldn't manage a piss up at a brewery. I don't like to see anyone throw away money on UC server that never amounts to anything because they hired the wrong staff.
