Please reply to this thread only if you have/or you are in a guild on Zone with about 4 players in it or a squad with 4 or more players in it. Or if you are a staff member on Zone willing to help.

I would like to assemble guild battles on Zone. Hopefully with Dante396's help I could schedule guild battles and we could start making tournaments for prizes. Nothing too big but some prizes.

I've recently created my own guild, Secula. I will begin recruiting for it to begin the Guild Wars Tournaments. Hopefully this can become successful.

Max Guilds: 6

Day 1: Secula V.S Xanadu

Day 2: Flare V.S Defiance

Day 3: Goon Squad V.S Lionheart

Day 4: Secula V.S Flare

Day 5: Flare V.S Lionheart

Day 6: Secula V.S Lionheart

Winning Guild: Secula

Prize: 5000 Zone Money For All 4 Members

Feedback from other Squad and Guild members would be appreciated. I would like it because it could create more competitive play on Zone.

what if members are in 2 squads that go against each other?

That was just an example for how a tournament in the future's schedule would look like.

They'd ofcourse choose one squad to represent :noob:

Yeah.

In a perfect world sure, but guilds aren't often taken seriously since there's no real rules, rivalries or anything of the sort. Just let em choose which guild/squad they want to represent and that's the problem solved.

Do you actually plan on this event spanding the week or was it just a place holder?


Also, why haven't you left it? "I'm qutting Zone" comes to mind from you.

This event would span through the week.


I'm not quitting, I meant I may quit if "things" happen.

That's just a delay for no reason, and it could end up costing some people the event since someone may not be able to make it that day. One day will be sufficent for this event.

Adding to your idea from here: Best of 3. Winner of the first round can decide which planet to play on (Koth and Gwars only, maybe Iricia depending if anyone is playing on it.)

The prize could be an increase damage of 2(Change if you want) with all guns that are not in the Gelat shop, or a small speed increase with every class. This should give interest for people to form there own squads, or join their friends. (Yes I know you used Zone money as the current system will not allow these ideas to take place)

Actually because a guild/squad can hold more members, they will ahve substitutes. If they do not have substitutes, they decrease a player and even it out.

That just ruins the event in whole. Having to decrease the players because someone couldn't make it?

Iricia is to big of a map to try to do guild/squad on unless you have like 10-15 people on each team which i seriously doubt would happen unless everyone just decided to get back on

Iricia is a perfect map for it.

I might take the first guild/squad vs all on that planet too :O

Who said I meant "at once". Point is I've beaten all three of you plenty of times. You've hardly ever beaten me in a spar.

But we arent in spar. More space for me. I usually win at deathmatch.

Again, you just think you are better when you kill me like once? If I recall, we played Deathmatch with a few other people. You killed "once" or "twice" with Doubleshots. Just because you killed me twice after countless Deathmatches you think you "usually" win?

I don't think you get this at all. "When you technically beat a player, it is usually settled in spar, not DM, not Iricia, not Gwars. Anything can happen there and people can run. So you lose.

Should be best out of 3, where one team selects planet (game type) then the other team selects the planet (game type) and for third round if it comes down to it just put it as a spar off.

I still find the winner of the first round should be able to choose what they want to be the best idea.

Me and Steve have known eachother for a little while. We both respect eachother and our skills on Zone. He even admitted I was a little better than him.
