Server Description (Login)

Hello. I'm trying to change a server's description (Login page, or F8, top box.)

Stefan says they are login files, but I've no clue where or how to change that o.o'

Are you sure he doesn't mean files on the login server?

for a classic server perhaps; but it doesn't seems to be working even when i rawcopy and paste the script (shame on me, i know).

More likely you're doing something wrong. Hosted servers have had descriptions in the past.

does the name of the bot have to be "EventBot_<insertServerNamehere> and nothing else?

i had it as EventBot_Aeon2 but i got access to the script that controlled "Eventbot_Aeon", but that didn't change anything..

That's probably an ancient IRC EventBot thingy. I'll fix it when I get home from work tonight.

Also possible it needs to be "AEON" and not "Aeon".

urgh, my bad i guess, i didnt think it had to be uppercase..

this is pretty much the same script as skyld posted...

and i dont see why this wouldnt work, if you are sure that hosted can have this type of thing still.

The channel name doesn't matter. It doesn't even need to join a channel.

yeah i figured that, since not all servers have a irc.
