It seems that the mods are getting bashed like it was when some other people were mods, they have a job to do, they have to judge wether posts are for closing or to remain open, so let them do their job and don't complain, it's really sad, this forum would really be alot worse without them.

I think it's better to close instead of delete them anyways, you still get your posts.

Mods are always flamed, no matter what. It happens on every message board I go to/have gone to, and it continues to happen. Mods have "powers" regular members do not have; they are elite you could say. Regular memebers want this "power" (really mods don't have as much power, as people think, nor is being one an easy job). They will try to get a mod, demodded in hopes of taking their place; in all cases, those people are not the ones chosen to replace the former mod. You know, this kind of reminds me of the time Evan (was that his name? I don't remember as it's been too long) on the old UBB; everyone was always flaming him.
I wish people would leave the mods alone, I know from personal experience, that being one is not easy, and that flaming them, only ends up with the flamer/poster losing respect, and the chance of modship.

Yes, the "powers" we have are tools that help us do our job witch is moterating the fourms, when people disobay the rules they run off crying about it, or try to clear themselfs by blaming the other people for doing somthing wrong, I just wish this would not happen *sigh* oh well, MODS moterate, and if people break the rules and complain about it, its their own fualt.

Yeah, but hey; Some times mods are just illiterate and threaten to ban everyone that suggests an idea.

Anytime one person has power over another, there will be *****ing. It is expected.

Exactly. It will not end, no matter waht you do to try and stop it. People can't understand that people are moderators for a good reason (well... most of the time. I've had cases where there are no reasons.) Leave them be, and let them do their job.

Bowlich says: I've seen plenty of boards in which the moderators are liked, not despised, such is the case on the damasca boards. If everyone on the damasca boards can get along with the moderator why can't the people on g2k1? Obviously a moderator who is disliked is not performing as the board members which him/her to perform. Such a moderator should alter their ways to better get along with the members instead of creating friction.
