Showimg is what we all used in the time known as B.N. or Before NPCServer...

well, showimg involves mainly lighting effects, which are only available to pay servers. If you notice, multiple lights are handled with the showimg scripting. Therfore, it's prolly only for pay servers

Uh... lighting effects are like 1% of what showimg is. Besides, showimg has been around for years - he's hardly gonna take it out now and make all the worlds stop working.

im not sure but i believe changeimgvis is illegal (since it uses alpha blending and rgb stuff .. its like seteffect junk but for showimgs)

And on the topic, I think that showimg isn't illegal on free servers. That'd make the abilities of a free server even more limited.

Uh...? changeimgvis has nothing to do with alphablending.

Changeimgvis can be used to make status bars if I'm not mistaken...(like the HP display on Dino Valley)

You're right, it can be used to place something on the 'stats level' on the screen. Same thing is used for Metris and its in-production RPG followup.

Changeimgvis is like layering for NPCs...I think it goes

1 - under player
2 - same as player
3 - over player (Default) and over light effects (when using seteffect)
4 - basicly the layer for status bars, measurements convert to pixels.
