Do you think it would be a good idea to have a classic II, same as regular classic except p2p for less lag, original classic will still stay

Well now that lots of people have got their accounts banned I dont think so.

Nah that wouldn't work out...Classic is so fun because of the 170-250 players usually on it..those are the ppl who make up classic..there is nothing to do there except pk and spar. When you pk ppl they actually die and don't pause and run :( if there was a p2p classic it would suck.

no because, a lot of the people on classic who don't upgrade say it's because there's nothing to do on graal2001, but they also complain about lag, so if they see a server they know is full of things to do and has minimal lag, they will upgrade

Yes and some people could work on the p2p one to make it work with npc server and maybe add a few things and such that only npc server can do to make it look nicer.

classic has tons of levels,
and thousands of npcs,
it would be better with no npc server,
but i would be glad to help if stefan does decide to do it, i suggested it to him so he told me to make a poll, so we'll see, :)

Definitly should happen and should have an NPC server maybe pick a few people (memememememe) to convert the NPC's and all that to NPC server and make some of the moves be nicer with gani's and all that (maybe rescript some stuff to make it less laggy) and realse it when it is finish.

that would be a great idea, a 5-6 person team adding the levels to the .txt and converting the npcs, but it would take atleast a month to get everything done

Yes maybe 1 or 2 gani
4 (or less) scripters
and
1 or 2 level people to fix up any errors or maybe add a building or two?

Id love to help with the NPCs and or ganis!

That's just the thing...there is NOTHING to do on classic but PK and SPAR...if there was a p2p classic noone would pk because they'd pause and protect thier money...noone acutally does anything besides chat/pk/spar on classic..on g2k1 ppl do jobs and such and run around playing instruments..etc. What would you do on a p2p classic??

no money would be as easy to get as it is on classic, it will be almost exactly the same except we would replace sprites with ganis and make it a lot less laggy,
why not spar? why not pk?
there's tons of quests to do
there's a LOT of things to do

because a lot of people have said they want a less lagger classic
with less new players and things like that
original free classic will also remain

Well if money was like it was on g2k1 it would be better...but not alot of ppl would upgrade...there would probably be like 50 ppl on at a time if we're lucky..or if Unixmad and them just took down the normal Classic for a couple days and delete all the gifs and clean up the server it would be fast. :D No need for p2p if they did this.

there would be quite a few people on it, and a lot of people liked classic when it has players in the 50-70s

I remember when the only server was classic and there was like 450 players on at a time, NO LAG. Now all these retarded servers come along and made classic laggy...plus the 10000 gifs stored on graal and on classic and are not being used...g2k1 is all pngs so it's fast and clean server..classic is so damn packed with all this useless junk and it creates lag.:(

I remember when there was beta.graalonline.com and www.graalonline.com. Beta.graalonline.com was supposed to be "lag free", but no GPs would be on to change heads and swords and shields.

It would have the same npcs (no npcserver), it's not so
simple to convert npcs and its not really fun work,
also you couldn't play additions made to classic

no..coz it just will turn out a a failure..i think

one classic is enough, not two

Get a team of 6 best of teh best and try it *shrugs*

then, we should be able to edit it, since all the "cool" people will be "running" it.
It may turn out better than classic, you never know

You could just update it like every 3 months.
