couldn't you maybe just disable the link and/or block it with BLOCKING tiles.

People can get over blocks with cars.

Btw this is a comma splice. The grammar police have just been grammar'd.

Siriously, instead of putting lots of staff blocks, fix the car glitch.

Still don't see whats so wrong about good old fashion signs. Especially pieces of paper with "Notice" printed visibly on them.

Pff, nobody reads those...

They did have these, but I'm not sure where they went.

Yea, and how many times have you read them since? Unless something's jumping out at you, you're probably not going to go looking for the information on your own.

Hooray the News Admin doesn't know how to spell, and loves to use run-on sentences.

No one pays attention to them because they're not used to them actually saying anything. If the bright white papers that said "NOTICE" were used for information before, people would pay attention to them.

Because there's nothing on them.

Exactly, just make them stand out. Give them a flashing glow everytime they're updated until they've been read by the player once.

Not everyone who might need to get an important message across to players has level access to change those.

Could possibly modify staffblocks to no longer display the message in white text above the block, but to send the message to the player when they grab it or click it...just need to have some way to show that it has important information.

So basically the same thing you just said, but so that all staff can use it anywhere.

it still looks ugly and unprofessional.

Well, tough ****. There are times when messages are needed at any random location. It's either "you never informed us that _______" or "wow what's with the staff blocks"

I'll take the latter and continue to place staff blocks.

Edit: What's with the nitpicking anyways? Staffblocks are the least of our problems when it comes to unproffesionalism. I'd say that something to make them look more appealing is a big step in the right direction.

It's all Squirt's fault, lol.
