For me, Vista hasn't finished beta stage until the first service pack is out ^^.

That's silly.

I find it more stable than XP.

Well I haven't partitioned my HDD with a copy of Vista so there isn't much I can say. But from what I have heard, even with the new "genious" kernel recoding for security reasons, it's just becoming as incompatible as the Mac.

The only programs I haven't been able to run on Vista so far are Graal and Second Life.

Mac OS has it's own world of software separate from the Windows world, but most of you do not seem to realise this!

As for software not working on Vista, there will be some software that doesn't work because Vista is different to the previous operating systems. It's inevitable for things not to work right for some time.

No doubt! Quite understandable, I just wish they did this before the OS was released.

Well I could debate about alot of other stuff I don't like about Vista at this current stage of time but I most probably would lose due to Google botting, that or i'd get lazy.

Haha.

I'm not certain who I discussed this with previously, but what's the point in trying to make something work on prerelease software when it's subject to change anyway? Besides at any rate, Cyberjoueurs have only got a limited number of machines to test with. People sending bug reports in helps Cyberjoueurs to fix things.

Same here Minoc, Graal is the only program that doesn't work.. and I've got A LOT of programs installed. All running perfectly.

the exact same thing happens with xp 64bit. it's been happening since v4 came out. the only thing you guys can do to temp fix this is to run about 20 programs in the background and then run graal. i have to load teamspeak, itunes, wmp, msn, about 10 firefox windows, limewire etc and graal will run without crashing.

I use Virtual PC 2007, a free download from microsoft, with a legit XP pro key I have from my old PC. That seems to run it just fine. Very speedy. Only problem is, no DirectX emulation. Translation: GUI elements are borked, but PMs work great.

However, I'll agree that the only programs I've had a problem with on vista are Graal and RC.
