Not anymore. I realized that good Developers are not willed to work for free anymore, like in the good old days. Thats why I dont mind paying them for their work.

Task-wise, weekly, monthly, hour-based, could be all discussed.

Money and LAT in the same post...

On one hand it seems awesome and I should try it out, on the other I'd probably feel guilty at the end. wat do?

$:time spent for aesthetically pleasing/functional leveling work doesn't add up. From what I've heard the kettle stays black in the game design career field all around though.

I am willed to pay very well for also very good work. Elk started with an inside tileset, it should of course meet this standards so it can get finished one day.
I was thinking about a complete tileset (inside only) of about 300-400 usd. Depends on the quality and quantity.

woah woah. You're willing to spend that much money for a tileset?
Thats insane! Why are you paying people to develop for your server? Where do you get this kind of money?

In the real world, there's this thing called a "salary" that you can get from doing actual work. :megaeek:

This is graal we are talking about.

Paid devs would give a higher quality work, but still is it worth paying 300-400 usd for quality on a development server?

I don't think investing several hundred dollars into something with which you will gain no profit out of whatsoever, and is technically a job, is a particularly good idea.

Well, there are people who are wasting hundreds of bucks into other hobbies, so I am doing the same for this Hobby. People should stop caring for what Im spending my money.
