I recall this problem being something that has proved a pain for a very long time, but a gmap wouldn't have taken long at all to resize.

My opinion is to higher staff by application instead of by being friends with other staff. Maybe stuff will happen then instead of a bunch of useless hat releases.

There's nothing wrong with hiring your friends as staff. Staff positions aren't generally part of the game, so there's nothing wrong with favoritism. Hiring people you can already work well with (given that they're qualified) is more beneficial to the server than hiring someone who may cause issues later on.

Exactly. The issue is that they don't seem qualified at all. All they do is try getting attention.
