The perspective looks fine.

It might be because at the back of the boat there are two layers of wood visible, but at the front there is only one. DECEPTIVE.

Problem is probably that the front lacks any display of the actual boat, and it looks like the railing is just floating on water. Should probably display a little wood in the front instead of going straight to water.

ya, this was my problem. dont now if it was intended but I never see boats that have short fronts and tall backs (usually the opposite tbh). Also the prop looks like it's too high.

A simple fix could probably be something like this:

I was playing around with it to see if I could fix the perspective in my eyes, and thus, get my point across. I'm no artist, so feel free to flame, haha.

I really don't see the bricks any differently with how you edited them, but as for the bottom side of the railing/posts, those were not made simply because then I would feel obliged to make stairs and then a wall...and another floor below it to show height.... XD and more.

I was trying something out to see if I could put it in perspective before I added the front railing. Didn't work out too well :(
