Wouldn't an actual 3D Engine be a step in the right direction (for your project) though?

I guess but then I wouldn't have an "audience" really as you got on graal, and I doubt it would be as simple as I would like it to be :P

i simply say this hardly anybody can make a 2d game on graal
what makes u think u guys can get a 3d server up on graal ??

3d would be alot more time and harder and ur still doing it for free

Hmm yea I was looking around for some graal like thing but with 3d and the closest thing I found was garagegames, they have both a 2d and a 3d engine that you can buy (99$ each)... but I think I'll probably just use the Warcraft 3 engine for now and make a single player game with custom graphics xD sounds much easier, I think :p

the 3d editor from wc3 is obviously much easier to use then the 2d editor from graal, creating the 3d models on the other hand would of course require you to learn a 3d program (the modeling part at least), but its not impossible.
