The base had a cozy mansion type of look as opposed to the other industrial-type gang bases. Self explanatory, no other gun on Era (from what I've seen) has a gani where it is contained, let alone toggled from it's contained mode (in a guitarcase) to ready mode (out of the case and in your hands). The gun itself fit with the mafia theme and guitarcase is something I've never seen on any other game I've played.

-Ranking system

It took me a week of being around Morano members and idling outside their base to finally be accepted. I had to be chosen amongst a few others for the Bodyguard position and was never promoted for the few months it was running in spring/summer 2006.

The problem with Morano Family is that the leaders have lacked capabilities. They hire their friends, a lot of high ranked people paid for their spot (Wil Soul, honestly, he has no RP capabilities and he was a Godfather, but then removed so he's not really a Morano anymore.)
I've joined Morano each time, as a member, but it always fails, leaders fail, recruiters fail. They all expect to be respected when they fail.

It's really bothersome how people want a gang that has failed over 3 times these past two years, and they're still addicted to having it back. This isn't how Morano should be, this is how a GANG should me, and Morano is NOT a gang, it's a family, and should be treated so.

Ok so the problem doesn't lie within the gang itself but the ones who end up as leaders.

The gang didn't fail, the leaders did. Morano Family is still technically a "gang".

Was Morano even a last name before the gang came out?

And I never said Morano was coming back, I'm basing it off the applications. Wil Soul submitted a Morano application yesterday that wasn't like, stunning.

What's the point of adding another gang if all of the gangs have lost their characteristics? It'll just add another gang for people to hop to (which is not good!). The only way to solve that problem is to scrap all gangs and assign staff to create their own gangs and do whatever they want with it. I know it worked before in the beginning of Era so why not? Adding another gang will just eventually get them deleted when you consider the huge amount of examples (Scelus Family, Brotherhood, Mongrel Mob, etc.)

Also please quit hyping Morano Family, don't say it's unique because they have uniforms (Black Holst, Panther International, Rubeus Syndicate, Los Carteles have done), have "cool" weapons that fit their "style" (PI, PPA, Era Underground, ERA MAFIA, Black Holst deserves a mention because they had the first gang weapon ever and there was a BUNCH of unfinished weapons that sadly never came to exist) has strict recruiting regulations (Black Holst after I was fired and before Kae owned it, PI, PPA, Tachi.... AHAHAHA JUST KIDDING) and please don't spew that "structure" BS (because I know that Black Holst, Rubeus Syndicate, Los Carteles had both a unique and original structure). Also did you know that MF wasn't the only one that RPed? Wellll now you know!

Although it would be nice to give Seara her gang back ;)

I was talking to someone and they had a good idea about maybe after the reset if the G-Map is redone each gang would be on its own island, and then maybe a mainland.

Yeah, that was me xD.

To add to it, each island would have it's own theme (Rural, Urban, Shoalin, etc..)

I think having more themed related gangs would help players decide which gang is right for them. I know that when I was a new player, I wanted to join Tachi because I was into that kind of stuff.

The bases are enough for that. The gangs don't need their own islands (this isn't GK).

I like everything about your idea. But I don't think id go to the extent of putting each base on its own island.

Don't know how many times Ive said this but the city needs to be divided up into areas such as downtown, china town, little Italy, China Town, slums. Each base should be placed in the section of the city that best represents its theme. For example Morano = Little Italy.
So yes, the surrounding areas of each base should have that gangs theme. I agree with that. But Islands don't seem necessary to me.

-Get a gang of Gats and get them working on custom tiles for each section of the city.
-just my 2 cents.

Asiatown is in the near future as far as I'm concerned.

so basically they need to make the gmap bigger to fit all that stuff in cause right now era is really small
