Why does Switch have to quit the Forums? Graal is one thing and Forums are another. Alot of people dont play Graal but like to discuss on Forums..There's nothing bad about it.

There's no problem with he's staying. He's free to quit the game and still be here. But he's quit the client, then went on to say "I quit Graal", yet he remains here - here being part of the game. These forums are Graal. If he wants to proudly quit Graal, he'll need to actually quit; the game, the forums, everything. Until then, he's quit nothing.

Yes, because when you quit smoking, be sure you completely cut and relations with anyone else who smokes!

Stop giving attentions to fools who thrive on it. The more you talk about this, the longer he will remain.

If you were to compare what Switch has done with smoking, you'd end up with something like a guy who claims to quit smoking, but still does it when he's in a place filled with smokers. He never quit it to begin with.

Graal and the forums are 2 different things. The forums are a discussion about graal.

This is going WAY off topic...
ONTOPIC NOWS.

kia345 04-06-2008 08:10 PM

This is all on topic, we're discussing his "quitting".

If this is true why do we need to have a Gold/VIP account on Graal to be able to use forums?

You misunderstand him(Mystic), I think, if the way I see it is what he wanted to get across, Graal is the game itself, while the forums are something entirely different in the way that it doesn't always revolve around the game.
This is a Forum and that is the game. Although, the forum is used for people to talk about the game, it also opens doorways for communication, threw PMs, and NGR. And also, the forums are not simply something you have to play the game to be a part of, its a community, where you can talk, and read about what others are doing, and such.

And, to put it in retrospect, the forums, and the game are two different things, as the forums are where you put ideas, and talk about subjects (one big discussion), and the game is where you play, and also you play the ideas, that were used and created.

Also, I am pretty sure when he meant he quit graal he quit the game, and it is possible people quit playing the game, and still view the forums, and post and comment.

When someone says they're a "proud Graal quitter" it means they quit all of Graal.

I saw no place where Switch said, "I'm a proud Graal Quitter", he said he quit Graal, and will be on the forums from time to time. Graal referring to the Game, I am guessing, if not then your point is valid.

kia345 04-06-2008 10:11 PM

His sig has the exact words, "Proud Graal quitter". He has not quit Graal because he has not quit participating in Graal's day to day activities.

That's mainly because of Stefan/Unix. It's retarded that we have to... but that's just the way it is.
