Not really.

Even if you gave out 10 blood rings to the winner, I'd not show up. Events wont fix GK, reverting more back to the old style of the game will.

Well you could make something else than leveling like farming could be more intresting than putting a seed in hole and watering the plant for 5-10 minutes. And there could be quests like get some tomatos and stuff for some NPC thats what new people like to do. And after doing the farming they will get that it would be easier to kill the evil bomy lurking under the tomato plants if they would got higher level and go seek for help. :D
