Graal Forums - Here's what's up

Well, although half of the people in this thread would vote for a reset, im not sure i would too. Mainly because a reset has many negative results, but then again not having a reset would pose negative results too. I think that whatever road staff veer down would have the same positive points and consequences along with their descision. I believe reading somewhere in this thread that they have reversed a bunch of trades and anyone who didnt have spawned items can contact them. This is a good idea because the staff should take about 50% responsibility in players items if they are unfairly taken away. But the player too should also have around 50% responsibility. Mainly because staff just cannot keep a solid watch eye on everyone on the entire server. That is nearly impossible. But back to the main point, I think this personally would have been the best choice, because not only should we not rush Era dev, but we should have a proper closing of the regular Era first. Not just plain chaos. I think when the server dicides to close down it should allow some notice of a couple days so that players have a chance to just drop all their guns, make stupid trades, and do other things. I think this for the sake of the players entertainment will be a splendid idea. Im still currently off of Era but if someone could give me some feedback on the state of the server now, I would greatly appreciate it. Now with the disablement of trades, I think it should be dragged out and stretched on for a long period of time, for the the fact that players will just start drop trading their items, and it increases the likelyhood of them being scammed. The last thing the Era staff team need is more people building up on them with scam requests because they disabled the trade in the first place. Im not sure how currently many gps there are left, but I know they are limited. They need to just focus their full attention on regular developing. Although I do feel it is wrong to let the regular server go to waste, I do think that they should maybe up the pace on it. I think this has been a big eye-opener for the staff team of era, mostly for the fact that they will now get a bit of a solid good pace going on the developing server. Im not talking about just going extremely fast, because thats when mistakes happen. They know as well as I know they cant afford any mistakes on this new dev server. Players today are so critical, but you have to remember; they are working for free, they owe you nothing. Matter of fact, they are paying to work! Now isnt that crazy? It sure is for me, so I think everyone should lay off the negativity also, and just let them be, let them do what they are going to do. Noone is going to stop them anyways. I think that if the negativity would go down to a lower level, then they would feel better about their dev work, and even make more dev work. They dont have to prove anything to you players. They are people too. So anyways along with the current excitement all over era, I think no matter what road we go down, we will have change, and it probably will be a good type of change, not like that kind of change we had with the hospital back when they changed it for a month or two. Or not really even the Obama type of change, because it really seems like hes like all the other politicians. Of course, he does have the economy to worry about. Anyways back on track, the Era staff team have almost been like obama mainly for the fact that he hasnt really done anything yet. I think if we were to get some visual updates on the new dev server, then everyone could follow along and not get impacient with it. So anyways, do I think there should be a reset just yet? Personally I dont think there should be, weighing all the circumstances to each other has lead me to form this opinion about it.
