What about directing someone a location?
asking what commands for actions needed is not all a FAQ needs to answer/help with

Then you are still able to get on client to show them. Or you are that good that you are able to descibe how they have to walk to get there.

Look Bjorn your apparently going to do what you want. You have your mind set on giving them GK RC...well fine have fun but don't be complaining later IF they start idling and not doing their job.

I still say just them having the FAQ tag on Clientside is good enough. When us EM's go on tag we show up in the player list under "Staff" and so would they.

Sure they would and this is fine. But one thing in this case doesn't exclue another from going to happen, does it? RC has still positive aspects which were not only mentioned by me. I'm working with dvd creation tools that need quite a lot memory and all gfx ressources. This makes it impossible to get on client if I use them but I still can get on RC to talk to other people.

from what im getting from this, dont feel like reading to page 6, is that ravens pissed that people will idle on rc (for some reason hours makes a difference for some people? lol), or he's pissed that FAQ would get RC, and he doesn't have it...

and Bjorn's trying to say FAQ might have RC, but if they do, all they'll be able to do is get on and talk, they wont have rights to **** (what else is new? lol)

I say get a whole new set off staff. These ones dont do there jobs anyways. (hence why there are NO items left in the game, and why theres never any big updates) That's my 2 cents anyways. Don't just higher FAQ, get a whole new set off staff so GK might be fun again, instead of its 8 playercount 2/3's of the week

FAQ = good for GK. One is that many newbs will come on and not know what to do while those cynical bastards (thank you people on the forums for the word cynical :o) on GK make them look like idiots. And these staff better not be like the GPs from before where they went on for about 10 minutes and went off for the day.

The Graal Remote Control doesn't increase the amount of hours displayed on your account. The fact of the matter is, Ravenblade, you're just contradicting your own thread. Someone could stay on RC for days, and when they log on player the next day, there hours would not have increased. The only downfall of having FAQs with RC is... NOTHING! There is nothing wrong with it. What's going to happen? There's one extra player on the playerlist?! Oh no! When new players log on to GK, the first thing they look for is showadmins and RCs, as well as people on staff tag. With the point that FAQs are players too, they would not ALWAYS be able to be on tag, therefore they could be on RC as 'Name (FAQ)' or so. The point is, GK needs knowledgeable staff who know what they're doing and can help out with the players more than just "where is the east dungeon house?" FAQs should be able to answer basic questions about computer help, video resources for Graal in general, among another wide array of typical tech support related questions. GK is a 'professional' server for Graal, because it's gold. GK needs FAQs who are able to represent GK professionally and answer questions with a true and quick response.

This isn't about hours. It's about the inevitable (though very minor and of little relevance) problem of someone idling on RC (probably because they forgot to disconnect) with their tag on and as a result players sending questions to them that don't get answered.

Alright? So someone forgets to disconnect. I don't understand what the big deal is... you can idle on player too.

I just read through these posts and I can not find Bjorn say that we are getting a FAQ team, atleast not the words. I don't care about what rights they have, that can be dealt with later. I just want a simple yes or no.
