If by good you mean lucky, range of skill isn't directly correlated between Knowing Stefan and not.

I am the best pixeler ever. Want to challenge me? You already did. My submission was so good that it warped the space-time continuum to a point in reality when you didn't challenge me. That's right. I've beaten everyone on this forum and I've beaten everyone in the world hundreds of times over and they don't even know it. My pixeling skills ended communism. Look it up on Wikipedia, it's right there on the main page.

Here's an idea. Why doesn't everyone here pixel their egos? Can your processor handle an image that big? I doubt it.

Who the hell are you...?

Generally skill is a more significant factor than luck, as I know very few people who aren't skilled that are in regular contact with Stefan from the GraalOnline community.

I'm not gloating, it's just how it is.

Yeah but I know people that are extremely skilled that don't have direct contact with Stefan, and wouldn't have a hope in hell of getting a response out of him asking for a new feature.

So the fact that some people can get new features out of Stefan to increase their bounds isn't really about skill it's about luck and who you know.

Elk you may not understand, as a Graphic Maker, but every NAT I've ever met has had problems with Graals limitations.

A good artist does not blame the paint brush... or something like that.

Basically don't blame the tool for what you cannot accomplish. Everything has limitations... a real creative mind knows how to work inside those limitations to make something amazing.

You have to take what you can get, and Graal offers plenty to make a great game. Why do you think so many people who feel "limited" by Graal go off and try to make their own game and fail? Because they find themselves limited in their scripting knowledge, or limited in staff, or limited in money, or limited in whatever.

There is a limit on everything called human error.

o.O That relevance does that have to the limitations of Graal?

Zideruic 10-14-2006 10:58 PM

Other than the fact that if i told you to script/lat/gfx me something beyond yourself, then you'd probably blame it on graal's limitations...nothing.

What would they be strict about? "on people like you" - what do you mean?
