Think of all the active Graal players and developers who have criticized and left these forums due to its moderation. Now go look at Graalians.com and see them all posting actively and happily. That should tell you right there that whatever you think you're doing to "benefit" these forums is doing the polar opposite.

BTW in terms of Graalians.com being inappropriate, I seen creepy man woman porn on these forums, have yet to see it on Graalians!

Sheeeeet, this forum still exists? Old people will always be set in their ways, I guess.

We have such a unique community here, just saying. I love it lol.

this thread isn't about Darlene its regarding the suture of our forums, I was just replying to the rules she stated. Lets focus on the future of graal.

I'm not a very large part of this community but I do know this - no forum is without its problems. No moderator is going to be loved by everyone. Graalians has its own set of problems as well.

Isn't it a bit redundant to be debating the quality of a moderator on the forum that they moderate? You'd have more joy appealing to the individual who leads the moderation team.

I think you could do a good job!

I highly doubt if any moderators are needed, the forums aren't that active at all. Not to say in the near future that can change easily since Stephanes decision to make them free for everyone.

Just to be clear about something:

Upgrading the forum software does not correlate to modifying the forum policies/rules unless stated otherwise by a director.

Please try to remain on topic :p Thanks!

But if the rules or the moderation are driving people away from the forums, upgrading them is pretty pointless.

The time should be fixed on the forums, I have to use GMT -1 instead of GMT -6 because it's off for 5 hours for some reason (PHP time zone configured incorrectly I would guess).

I've noticed that too.

I also think keeping general information update to date is an issue.

Yeah mine says gmt+0 for eastern standard time to be correct. Also anyone else find it odd that the forums are now free for everyone yet you need a community name which costs money? Under what definition is that free?

All times are GMT +2. The time now is 02:07 PM.
