Unfortunately we have to go off what someone writes in an application and look at their past with Graal,
Didn't Vampiric Tutor's first account get a temporary global ban and eventually deleted by Unixmad?
I know for sure his first account was banned on this forum and has been banned from several playerworlds.

Your knowledge is far from the truth.

1)I've never been banned on ANY playerworlds on any account that I've ever owned.

2)The forum ban was over a misunderstanding on my part, and the issue was resolved.

3)I was never temporarily globally banned. My first account works just fine and was never deleted.

I think that you are mistaking me for Brett.

Why don't you people who are saying that one or the other should'nt have been chosen (whether you mention names or not) give them a chance to actually show whether or not they can do the job?

I think it is really crappy when global staff openly voice that they are against a new member chosen. they deserve a chance, and they dont deserve to be kicked in the teeth before they even get started :(

That's kind of broad. You're arguement would lead one to believe that ANYONE should be hired for PWA because nobody knows how they'd do with the job, so we should give everyone a chance.

It's like, my friend that has never played Graal in his life should deserve a chance, because he might be incredibly good at the job. If life were that easy, we'd all have high paying jobs doing things we're good at. It's not that easy, and I don't see how you can sit here and complain about Kaimetsu's opinion. When it's just an opinion, and he has every right to make it.

You're only getting defensive because it's a semi-personal issue for you.

Congratulations and good work, perhaps you can get the PWA team rolling again :)

No, the PWA have been hired. They deserve a chance to be able to do their job without people knocking them down before they evenh start. I didnt say anything about "everyone"
Everyone had a chance to apply, but that isn't what I was talking about, so I dont know where you came up with that.

An opinion is different then globals making bets in an open forum to see who can say "I told you so" first, and making pot shots...that is unprofessional, childish, tacky, and uncalled for.

About it being personal for me? It isnt at all, I dont know who Kai and Tseng was refering to, but it doesn't matter, I would expect Global staff to act more professional than that.

Anyway, it just makes the parties involved look bad, so whatever

If I'm not mistaken , everyone is entitled to their own opinion. :o

Thats not what was meant see everyone had a chance to apply, and these two made it, so its not a matter of "lets pick someone off the streets for the job", they applied and passed all 3 portions of the application and did better then everyone else, so as far as i know, you all should stop blaming protagonist and MoonGod and you should start complaining to spark although he will probably ignore your arrogant comments, its sparks team and i msure he knows what he is doing, protagonist and moongod dont even have global powers yet and alrdy they are being picked on, i want them to do a great job, i have 100% faith on them, whether they do bad or good its better to have faith and support them then to diss them, dont you think this might lower there self-esteem and make them do there jobs poorly? knowing that there fellow global members are back-talking them?, Chris didnt make it, too bad, get over it, many others didnt make it and you dont see them complaining as much as chris is. Chris you didnt make it, get over it, and you globals should stop nagging on these 2 new members for so far they have done nothing wrong and accusations should not be made until they have actually started working.

It's not so much a personal thing, Moon Goddess, against either of the two - it's just that most new PWA hirees do not have a good track record in my book, so it's only natural that I can have my doubts. And, if you think about it, you can doubt something by the exact same reasoning you can have faith in something.

Again, that's not to say I hope the new PWA members do well - I dislike being misinterpreted. I only wish the best for graal, you know.

Gambet 11-19-2003 02:53 AM

Well you gotta remember, everyone is allowed to apply, so not everyone may be in your good side, some may even be someone you never met, but it doesnt mean they are bad people.
