Sounds like a long winded and BS'ed way to go about it.
Just supporting Alfonso's follies though right?

Doing monotonous tasks for minimal pay while someone reaps the benefit of your work hardly sounds 'fun'.
Currently, you don't have to suck someone off to get hired and receive your rewards immediately for doing the same job. No one forces you to 'go stock' or benefactors from 'paying' you to do it.

Sounds pretty fine to me.
Plus, we don't have undesirables like Reese running the biz.

I agree, the NPC-Server should have filled out an application.

Because when you lose the business you'll make another forum thread complaining about how you paid for the business and lost it for not following the contract.

The NPC-Server has at least 40mil from taxes anyways, he'll smoke you.

? Repeating what I say doesn't make you cool mang.

Plus, it doesn't even make sense in that way.

There is only one person who benefits from a player-ran business...the owner. It's not worth the countless troubles.

Highly, highly, highly disagree.

in GP AM or PT, you earn more money mining than you would selling things straight to the server.

plus if you were a bad person you could just macro stock, earn a decent amount of money for holding down a button or two.

Can't speak for the other businesses though, but I feel like if this were the case they wouldn't be as popular.

In their current state, it's entirely true. Player-owned businesses would be great if there was a better system backing them.

really? because the opposite was always true in the past. There was no incentive (other than potentially becoming the owner) to work for a business because if you just sold your minerals to the NPC shop you could make more money.

The problem is how people approach mining for a business. Everyone just does straight lead or iron. That loses you money, yes

Smart people mine everything, and then just give the lead and the iron to a business. You still get gold and diamonds, but the lead and iron sell for 1(or more?) more to the business than the npc-shops

if you wanted to make the argument that not many people have realized and done this, then i would agree with you completely

Pelikano 01-03-2012 06:39 AM

I remember when I was supervisor at gun point I used to tell my miners to bring the minerals directly to me and then I would sell them to the NPC server

like a boss

plus im sure youll get very rich by getting 1$ more for your iron and lead, whoch is about 1/5 of the minerals you will have.
