I was allowed back by angel.

It is quite apparent by my profile that i am
R0bin, and it was either tyhm or unixmad who activated this account on the boards, and they should have known that i was banned, and if they didnt, then i am hardly to blame for their ignorance.

Besides, the forums have gone to ****, and i really dont feel like coming back when this account runs out of gold in a few weeks.

No, what I meant by "mega quotes" is someone who had about 4 quotes in one post, with no input from the member at all, only the 4 quotes.

Where in my post did it say "mega"?

I was talking of the spam where just a quote is posted. He was doing that, and just saying something like "Omg ownage" to accompany the quote, which in my book IS spam.

D1ce2 01-09-2004 04:54 PM

O, If your on about me on that post, I was implying to robin about that being spam on what you said. I'm sorry If you meant mine was spam!

He certainly hasn't sent any warnings to me, and most of the threads he doesn't like are promptly deleted. How am I supposed to know if I'm one of the 'troublemakers' or just another person having legitimate posts removed?

I also think you should count me in, as i have also had an oppinon kaim

Opinions arent against the rules, for the millionth time, it is the way you give those opinions.

If you think the mods are breaking the rules, then send your complaints to an admin.

Is posting those opinions in a thread against the rules? Should they be pmed or something instead?

If that were the case, there would be no sense in the forums.
This is a place for Graal members to discuss things, it is difficult to discuss things without giving an opinion on things. If you are referring to a specific subject, you will have to clarify what you mean.

Why cant you have what? An opinion? How many times do I have to explain the same question?

marcoR 01-09-2004 07:43 PM

That wasn't spam, I was wondering where the greater portion of my posts went, silly goose.

Didn't Unix warn you to stop this? Wasn't the other thread closed? Your saying your doing this because the 'rules arnt being enforced', If you care so much about the rules, stop breaking them?

This thread was created to propose an AIM chat to discuss the forums. That is not in violation of said rule.

Why were those other complaint threads closed or deleted then? They didn't degenerate into insults or anything.

Ever hear of overkill? Massive complaining, and giving an opinion on something are 2 different things. Yes, there were members who had legitiment questions, but there was also those who were doing nothing but complain. Angel closed the thread, you would have to ask her for the exact reason, but the fact that Unixmad made a post telling people to knock off the arguing or whatever, or he was going to start banning troublemakers, says alot....

Well here's something to think about.

WHY are we arguing all of the sudden? Let's check back now, ever since you and spark became super mod's people started arguing. JEBUS CHRIST I WONDER WTF WE'RE ARGUING ABOUT AND WHY NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE #$^%)#@^)%*

It doesnt take a hyper monkey to figure out that our arguing recently has been about the new "super" mods and how the rules have been enforced RECENTLY opposed to before you two "showed up" (you know what I mean -_-)

Unixmad fails to see whats going on and therefor is just trying to make it all stop without even knowing whats going on. Personally I want him to go over and read EVERYTHING and THEN and ONLY THEN tell us to stop being "trouble makers" (when the mods and super mods are actually the ones making all the trouble)

It's like we're being silienced for trying to do whats best for the forum. Cant you people see that we're risking a ban just to get things back to normal?

I'm going to stop there, all that needs to be said from me has been said. The rest I will continue over either PM or AIM...or something.

superb 01-09-2004 08:37 PM

"Overkill" is not a valid reason to close a thread. You guys just got tired of us making you look bad. No matter though. I just hope you guys start doing your job correctly.

Actually, the mods are fine..it's the supermods that are struggling to do their job correctly.

How do you make someone look bad? By attacking them. What is another word for attacking? Flaming. What is against the rules? Flaming.

marcoR 01-09-2004 08:43 PM

where do we get bananas? the jungle, what's another word for the jungle? a wild place. what's another word for a wild place? a berlesque house. you're underage. against the law.

That is too full of holes, it'd be impossible to list them all.

marcoR 01-09-2004 08:45 PM

I just thought your point was very.. broad.

Being attacked is generally seen as a bad thing, whereas wild places can be fun or scary or whatever.

marcoR 01-09-2004 08:48 PM

Some people like being attacked.. like gladiators =o

Incorrect. The posts I'm referring to were not attacks. Complaint != attack. Arguing with a moderator's response != attack. Making a moderator look bad by adequately refuting their points to an extent where they no longer reply != attack.

Gladiators were actually slaves/prisoners forced to fight in the arena until they were killed.

marcoR 01-09-2004 09:01 PM

Some of them did it for a living, and actually gained great political power there in, actually.

D1ce2 01-09-2004 09:07 PM

Looks like unix was right about the forums :p
