No, I deleted it all. I said the server was over with done, not because of anything bad, read my previous posts again. -_-
The server is deleted because there was no one to work on it. I backed it up for a possible future project, but no one got "dealt with". There was nothing wrong with the server, just not enough help to get it done by the time the server time ran out. |
Gdt is there for help!

Yes. We are working on finishing all levels and gfx offline. No reason to spend money to make stuff that can be done for free. We still have all of our systems, and this is why I didn't want to release anything. Probably about 50% done, or more, already on all the levels.
Also working on a website that can actually compliment a server for once. You can see a little sneak peek I suppose in the link on my signature, but its not finished yet at all, and wont actually work correctly until we get the server online so I can export some data to the website. Expect to see Armageddon soon. Our original plan is still the plan, with some improvements. |
Im going to try something and hope this works. Please, limit to legitimate answers.
What would you guys like to see in a server? I know its a broad question, but specific and direct answers would be good. |

I've seen too many rp and gun servers, servers that plan to do every single thing, but what is actually wanted by all players? That way we can output it on Armageddon. |
I'd like a Classic type server that actually emulates Zelda. Like if you seen Dusty's thread, that is what I am looking for and probably the only thing that would get me playing actively on Graal again.

That is our original goal, and still is our goal, so it shouldn't be a problem. :)
Also, our site is, kind of, done. Login, registration, forums, and the site itself does work. There are bugs here and there, and I plan to add more images with time, but that site was all my handiwork, all my own. :D Its in my signature, the link to the site (Armageddons site). |

For whatever reason when I use dreamweaver, it just seems to do that. A lot of it, as you can see in the screeny too, is different as well. The fonts are eras demi, the form for log in is too low, a few tiny things in there as well from firefox.
Not sure why, i didnt code it specifically for one browser as far as I know. It seems to have to run in compatability mode when I use IE8 too, but thats not a big deal, a lot of sites do. For a pic of what i see on my ie, see attachment. |

For now, im going to leave it be.
Also, for some reason registration is not working, will be fixing that within days. On another note, Armageddon has a "newer" tileset now. We're working on getting it incorporated correctly with no errors on the levels we have already. Next up is outlining and finishing the east side of the world, then all insides, then quests. I'm slowly but surely working on scripts to make better, and new additions to everything. |

you should seriously try to make the website work for Firefox, or atleast put up some pre-page that looks what web-browser you got, and then direct me to the page if i got IE or w/e works for the page, and if not, show a msg on the page that says, the page only works for IE.

Back on topic though, Armageddon is getting a makeover on all inside levels. They'll have a more updated look. Its better gfx, and looks more like zelda feel, at least as we think. The server should be back online in about 2 weeks. |

Yeah its still going to be there, but shhhhhhhh. Lol, that and other reasons is why there is a disclaimer xD. Armageddon: Rated M for mature. jk.
Anyways, server will be online Friday, and our personal deadline is ~2 months to classic. We've been working on testbed and offline to get things rolling. I'd say this is about the progress: Systems: 70% Weapons: 80% Levels: 51.34432467% GFX: 66.00000000000000000001% Other (event prizes,quests,ect):2% (lol, seriously) Kind of a broad way to put it, but thats pretty accurate from what I think. Of coarse, we add and polish things up still after classic, but we'd like all the classic accounts to enjoy some zelda type world that gives guilds something to do still as well. :) |

Just got systems at about 80% now. Theres a few add ons to spars that im trying to figure out if it would be better as a wep or level npc. Either way, the main systems are all the way done.
After today, the levels jumped to around 60% for outsides as well. That doesnt count insides and quest levels which are at an all low of about 30%. |
Finally up yesterday! Got everything back on and all. Right now we're finishing up the systems and outside levels, then on to quests and weapons probably. The server is staff only until we finish more, for now.

It looks ok, but very weird. I don't like your cliffs, and the inventory... but it looks alright and sounds great? :o

Also, the server has a subtitle for its name: Song of Swords. This is going to go along with the story for the solo gmap. We're going to break up a lot of the game areas to make it more unique to each place, and give each place a better reason to be at. For example, the solo gmap will consist of all quests, main town, guild registry and war rooms, warp to the abyss, the main spar house, events house, jail system, and a few extra things. The "playerworld" gmap (as we call it) will consists of towns, shops, player houses, guild houses, and guild fortresses, and will be where most of the economy in the game takes place. There is also the abyss on a seperate gmap. Systems at 90% btw. |
