When I was in 5th grade ('98), a classmate showed me this online Zelda game you could play on your browser. He also told me that you were able to download it somewhere and be able to play as yoshi and not just link. :P

I think so.

I have already worked on many projects during these years. :)

I thought I was one of the few that started off of the cyberjourers site. I remember playing on the webpage. After awhile, I finally downloaded the client. You could only play classic for some time, so I think. Of course it took me forever to figure out how to even get onto the server. Good times.

Odd question, and I may have asked you this before...did you go to school at North Royalton?

I quit Graal around 2003/2004 because I had no time for developing anymore and recently came back to see how things are.

I hope to get some time soon to restart a project that I left behind.

OSRS! How ya been, bud? How'd soccer work out for you?

Anyway, my brother and his friend introduced me to it. Neither of them have anything to do with the game anymore, I just suck.

My claim to fame: I accidentally ran into NeoJenova and didn't really even know about it until later that night. I doubt he even knows about it. We played basketball together on the same team at the Kent State rec.

So I asked him how I can play it and he told me the URL to graalonline.com and then it went from there.

Graal was my first online game, too. I was in sixth grade (I'm now a college freshman) and a friend of mine told me about Graal. He came over my house one day, downloaded it, then went on Unholy Nation. At first I was like "big deal" until he told me that everyone I was seeing was actually other people from across the world. I was also fascinated by this, and I solely place responsibility on Graal for evolving me from a mindless internet retard into a semi-respectable person. Well, I guess Era specifically (some idiot GP on Unholy Nation jailed me because someone claimed I was hacking my health and since he was on his staff tag he couldn't harm me either). Because of this, I was forced to play Era, and in turn, forced to grow the **** up.

Hello dude.

Well, I was going to play soccer for an university in San Diego/CA, but I got my visa denied, then I went to the army and I didn't felt like playing soccer anymore.

Nowadays, I am working for IBM/Brazil as an IT Specialist - DBA Oracle, providing some IT work for a company called Sprint/US.

There are also a few indians working together on this project. Its really nice. (the hardest part is understanding their accents).

Nice to see you around. :)

Don't talk to me like I'm not used to Linux, I've used it quite a bit. If you want games, then don't use Linux, or suck it up and get WINE to be able to play them. Simple as that.

Woah, really? Graal had an advertisement in a magazine??

I -have- to see this :O Does anyone think they can find this?

Oops I almost forgot to add my bit in. I'll try avoid straying from it ^_^;;

AGES ago I would bounce between Furcadia and Graal, usually playing each only briefly and spaced out for a few months. I think it was around 1999? Maybe 98? I don't know, I'm hazy on the specifics. I just remember starting out on the cliff by the center of town, trying to fight through the lag and pkers to get any further... it had the offline mode with the preset characters... ah and somewhere along the line was that sword splash screen :)

Before that, I could swear that my brothers showed me it as Zelda Online. I didn't really play much of it, but I do remember the website...
Was it a plain white website with its graphical logo on the top, I think it showed a scene of a few characters and a blue building?

In any case I think I got bored with Furcadia one day, remembered that little bit I tried of ZOnline and went looking for it.

But like I said... the whole thing is tough to piece together...
