2) For EMs answering questions is more a job on the side. They have to be on client to host the events.
3) Why is it an excuse to idle? Abusing RC on GK means ban so I don't see much of a problem. People will think about it twice. The only thing they could do is abuse the RC to idle but they can also idle if they are on FAQ tag. There is no big difference besides the ban.

How would you apply for such a position? I have 1400 hours on this account... plus i got about 1000 hours on another account. I've been around gk for a long time. there isn't much i don't know how to do. I always enjoy helping newer players. The higher the playercount the better.

If you want to believe so alright Bjorn but don't start crying if they start idling on Graal Kingdoms RC and not doing their job because it will happen. In fact I know it will happen. Why bother going on the client when all they have to do is login to RC to idle. You are just giving them the excuse to login and idle. I say just give them the tag with NO RC access. They will show up in the player list like we EM's do, like staff does. At the top where it says "Staff".

If you are so positive about FAQ guys idling on RC or client and just don't answer quesions from people like you mentioned in other posts... why did you even come up with this?
You just turn your own things down if you don't notice. You should have voted "NO" if you think all they do is abuse their staffjob.

Bjorn you haven't exactly had a good run with staff. There were a few GP's that were constantly idle. Its hard to think good things with examples like that. I still don't think they need RC access. Any staff tag will show up on the list at the top so there is no real need for RC access.

Well with or without RC access I still wanna be a Faq and get new people playing this game.

Thats correct because if you read everything there is mentioned that they are not getting rights on RC anyway. Question was about accessing the RC.

First off I just want to say I'd like to assist on a FAQ team.

Then onto the RC bit. If bjorn wants faq to have RC thats fine by me a good FAQ will use it properly. If they are just idling they lose RC and FAQ thats that. If I were FAQ I'd rather have people pming my RC than my player. Then your player wouldn't be under constant PM bombardment. Also the FAQs could use the RC chat to discuss if they aren't clear on the answer. There are many good points. If the worst they can do is idle then who cares.

The main thing is getting a clear answer. Will GK get a FAQ team? If so when can we expect to see some members or tryouts?

I guess it was my first post on this faq discussion where I mentioned that we already wanted to do this but the people jumped off we asked.

And instead of asking more people you just gave up. There were far more people who would have done it had you asked.

I won't argue on the RC thing but when they start to idle on it and I start to get people complaining Bjorn I will make sure to pass it onto you. This was never about them getting rights on RC. Even I am smart enough to know that they wouldn't have anything more then just logging in.

@Sage- No offense to you but when are you actually on? I see you login to Atlantis or Zodiac all the time. I never see you on GK anymore and your a EM.

None taken, I get bored like everyone else when there are only 4 people on GK. So I hop servers until I see more people on. Which lately hasn't been often. If I was a FAQ I'd hang around and answer questions. One can only level for so long and I don't like to idle.

Well with the playercounts during the day due to school there isn't much in the way of questions and they would have to idle just to wait. So right there they would be banned for doing their job.

I think they should be on the server more then RC in case they need to show someone something.

Raven, you should learn with idling is I guess.
Idling is if you are logged on but you aren't at your computer so you are not able to interact. In other words have a look at some of the guys on Debug who stay online if they are actually asleep. That's idling and not if you are online and wait for something to happen to give an extreme example.
