Well since this is the discussion thread, and I've been nominated I might as well show why I qualify for the position of Emperor of Samurai.

Although I do lack the expereince of leadership on Graal Kingdoms as a server. I do have experience in leader server based guilds on Maloria. I know this is not Maloria and some of you may not care what I did on Maloria. But I did lead the best nation actively for over a year, and I think that should count for something. I did bring the Malorian Nation up from almost nothing, and that kind of seems at what state Samurai is currently in. Not only did I improve my skills in bringing the nation back, I also focused on the few loyal members to build them up and get a strong base. Then if newer members pledged their alligence I would help them as well. If I did get the leadership of Samurai, I plan to use many of the same techniques of reviving it as I did on the Malorian nation. Plus I'd likely add a few more since this is Graal Kingdoms and it is held at a higher superiority to be a leader on here rather then Maloria.

I think I could help Samurai become active again, with many fun events, and RPing. I also plan to do any developmental work on the Kingdom that NEEDs to be done first and for most. If there is none/I get it done, I would aspire to make more and new interesting additions to Samurai.

I choose YOU pica.. wait, hold on - where were we again? Oh yeah, thats right.. I vote for Nate since Ive witnessed that he can do miracles with nations, I was there 99% of his time bringing Nayfle (the Mal nation) from dust, to a powerful iron fist. He's a good leader, the best Ive seen on Graal in fact.

I appointed him leader of Samurai and Yann removed him because someone complained about it.

Sounds like it could be possible.. I really hope he didn't quit because of me or anything though.. In my opinion though, I think he just wanted to play and I don't think he wanted to be staff anymore :)

I'm pretty annoyed with the way we can hardly decide on Kingdom leaders anymore.

I can understand removing (Forest) Chris, Kefkin, and a few others, but it doesn't need to be done with every single leader.

Googi didn't need to be removed, because he did a hell of a lot better than Calani. (Mainly because Calani had other things to be doing.) But when someone abused a bug to remove him, staff acted like it didn't even happen. That's backwards.

Because the nomination was held on the forums.

Also, aren't the nominees Taik, Strom, Nate and Hatred?

Yann didn't do anything wrong or quit being staff because of any player. I think it was just frustration with other staff and getting things added and done (same frustration as we all have, but those of us who love the game are ever optimistic ^^ ). I'm sure he will enjoy playing again without dozens of PM lights on constantly.

Strom wins, because only Samurai can vote

Draenin 02-04-2007 06:05 AM

Nobody set that rule. Besides, if the voting for Zormite leadership was open to the public, this should be too.

BigBear3 02-04-2007 06:21 AM

The vote commands are open on Kingdoms. I tried it said you are not a member of Samurai.

Draenin 02-04-2007 06:24 AM

Oh. So they opened voting on Kingdoms. Typical. :whatever:
