1) Smu, I know that was wrong. The hitler thing was in very bad taste, and truthfully I didn't even find it that amusing myself.
2) I'm suggesting the current management maybe telling the public what they're working on? Not everything, just enough to get folks interested.

It seems as though you've over analyzed "we". When I say "we", I am referring to the people who would not enjoy running blindly around for long amounts of time.
I wouldn't say it's idiotic. Maybe just a tad ignorant, if I had used it in that context.
But, let's try to remain a bit more civil though, shall we?

As a side note, there is one simple solution to your problem: don't assume.

You realize that you've already scrutinized my use of the word "we"? No need to repeat yourself, I am completely capable of scrolling up.
Assumptions are part of human nature. Also, I'm not so much as assuming this would happen, as I am
drawing conclusions from the way I've seen the average person's mind work. In majority of people, what I stated will more than likely be the case. But more than anything, it's a prediction of what I believe will happen, and believe me, I would be delighted if I were to be proven wrong on this matter.

You do not play Era, do you? The routine is starting to slip into:
1) Some guy becomes Manager.
2) Resets Era.
3) Completely redesigns Era to his/her liking.
4) Releases it after a long period of time.
5) Quits after a month.
6) Repeat.
In the past year or so, Era has spent more time down due to fun new rennovations being made, than people have spent making use of the rennovations. I'm not saying change is bad, but I'm saying change and delays of this magnitude grow a bit tedious over time.

Again, you obviously haven't played Era very often.

As a member of the Era community, I do have a great deal of knowledge as to what I'm talking about. Era's been reset way too many times, been overhauled way too many times, and quite frankly it's getting out of hand.
I hope against hope that this will be the last time this vicious cycle plays out, and that Rick can succesfully deliver a quality server. I honestly believe, from past experience with Rick, that he is perfectly capable of deving and to an extent, managing a server like Era. But he isn't doing a very good job of handling the community during this down time.
