yeah but you have to think realistically here. GRaal was built to play top down zelda style gaming in a 1024 pixel squares. sure it IS possible to do different things, but the product sure wont be very efficent, or good quality. sometimes it just cant be done. this is one of those cases. |

I mean like pull an arkland and have a whole different genre of thing, basically 2 playerworlds in one

With v3.0 on 300 Mhz I don't experience any lag, the only problem is that I cannot see myself, i only see stars, meteors and my bullets. I will try to make v3.1 working better with it

It is hellaciously more efficient to create with a different direction than Graal's from scratch (given you know what you're doing, but that is quite arbitrary no?) Quote:

However, he said that it didn't support many of the features he needed to have the server operate to its fullest. Quote:
Hopefully some of the up-and-coming servers will be able to push the envelope or so. |
Graal3D/v3.1 works fine now on Shifting Ages, I needed to fix 3 separate bugs to make the player ship appear and move. So it should also work better on other servers.
About bugs: if you find bugs or glitches then please report them. The only major problem on some Classic servers is that people upload bugged images (wrong transparency index) which work fine on the old Graal v2 but not in v3 since the image itself is bugged. Opening it in an image editor and setting the correct transparent color index is quite easy. If you see many of those on a server I can help fixing them. |
