yeah but you have to think realistically here. GRaal was built to play top down zelda style gaming in a 1024 pixel squares. sure it IS possible to do different things, but the product sure wont be very efficent, or good quality. sometimes it just cant be done. this is one of those cases.

Alright, now you've done it. I was done before but now I've had it. You are co.cky and obviously imcompetent. You cannot disagree that what Soul-Blade has created (while it might not be earthy colors and beautiful pixelations) is nice looking. Maybe it's not you're style, but calling it sketchy looking...well I'll just post a the last screen realeased of a NAMELESS SERVER and S:A, and you can decide which is better...

EDIT: Fixed image quality
EDIT 2: nevermind

Sign on Era, Unholy Nations, Delteria and give me a drastically different gameply mechanic besides guns, hats, economy, or classes. Don't you people understand that NOTHING has changed since playerworlds first came about?

That is so true more playerworlds should try different things maybe i will attempt an area on my server that will be much different.....

I hate servers that are the same everywhere then theres like 1 place thats TOTALLY different and doesnt tie into the rest of the server in any way.

I mean like pull an arkland and have a whole different genre of thing, basically 2 playerworlds in one

With v3.0 on 300 Mhz I don't experience any lag, the only problem is that I cannot see myself, i only see stars, meteors and my bullets. I will try to make v3.1 working better with it

No offense or anything, but you need to get 3.{0,1) working flawlessly with the current Classic servers, that's what the current users want. Sure, it's good to improve, but it shouldn't be sacraficing what's already done. I'm still experiencing odd bugs and such with the Windows and Linux version(s).

EASIER
It is hellaciously more efficient to create with a different direction than Graal's from scratch (given you know what you're doing, but that is quite arbitrary no?)

This post holds more intelligence than half of what's been posted in this thread put together.

Yeah, Soul-Blade said that a slightly-modded version of Shifting Ages runs fine on the v3 engine.
However, he said that it didn't support many of the features he needed to have the server operate to its fullest.

Well said.
Hopefully some of the up-and-coming servers will be able to push the envelope or so.

Graal3D/v3.1 works fine now on Shifting Ages, I needed to fix 3 separate bugs to make the player ship appear and move. So it should also work better on other servers.
About bugs: if you find bugs or glitches then please report them. The only major problem on some Classic servers is that people upload bugged images (wrong transparency index) which work fine on the old Graal v2 but not in v3 since the image itself is bugged. Opening it in an image editor and setting the correct transparent color index is quite easy. If you see many of those on a server I can help fixing them.

I've noticed that on the Graal3D/Graal 3.1 client I can log on Kingdoms, Atlantis, and Zenkou. Kingdoms works fine. but Atlantis and Zenkou are weird...I see 1 color. White or gray.
