No. Because you didn't give it to sombody. Stefan stopped being manager, to my knowledge.

Elections for Management is a bad idea... Because it'll just be a popularity contest. Not showing who's the most capible

So? I'm not the manager of my car, but I still own it. Stefan and Unixmad own every playerworld, every official server.

O_o ghost pirate=2230 Jagen= um seems busy?
Tseng= :)

It seems that James and I will be overseeing Graal "bomy moon".

We are currently engaged in a series of conferences with Stefan and the rest of the staff to speak of the direction the server will take. We've set up some basics, but will be discussing more specifics in the future.

What is required now is patience - we can't hurry this. You have already seen what happens if a 'quick fix' is attempted and hurried; now it will (hopefully) be done the proper way. :)

Can you have something so that the server is open?

The reason why the server isnt open right now is because we dont really want people bugging the staff while we are working, and we dont want people seeing our new ideas yet. I think we were planning on having a few levels with some npc's,or something to play with.

In my eyes, manager = owner. I already explained enough.

Actually, the owner is the one who made it. Sure, they'll hosting the servers, but if you put your car in a parking lot, the people who own the parking lot don't own your car.

Yea, open 2k1 with some of the minigames. Maybe ETs like myself can entertain people or somthing.

Again, this may be your personal perspective, but that doesn't stop it from being completely wrong.

1) No, there are intellectual copyright thingums that give ownership to GraalOnline. Everything you submit, yo.
2) You're contradicting yourself by suggesting that the 'owner' title can change hands. You say that Jeff owned it, but did Jeff make it? If the owner is the one who made it then even I'm a partial owner. No one person made the whole of BM.

syltburk 05-20-2003 11:57 AM

owner and manager is slight diffrent

managers manage the server
owners own the server

even thought on graal its the same but they mean diffrent things

Listen. Stefan abandoned it. He does not own it anymore. Yes, it is property of GraalOnline, but still, in my eyes, he is not, and does not deserve to be owner. And that's what matters to me, so shut up.

The person who started it gets dibs on the "owner" rights. If they leave graal, the server, or whatever, they are not the owner. They're the maker, but not the owner. It's like if you give your car to sombody, if you don't want to own it anymore.

Fine. But when the owner doesn't even visit the server anymore, I don't like to think of them as owner anymore. I like to think of them as "maker." So who gets ownership rights? I'd say the manager.

Repeat after me, TSENG ISN'T GOD. Kthx

I don't believe Graal Bomy Moon was ever there. Therefore, we can't bring it back.

We need Graal 2001.

And for everyone who was saying stuff like "LROEOFLFWTF JEFF SUX LELELOLRL," you need to know something. I stated this in another thread, but I will state it here, as well:

Managers need to know how to manage. They don't necessarily need to know how to make levels and such.

Kaimetsu said "1) No, there are intellectual copyright thingums that give ownership to GraalOnline. Everything you submit, yo. "

No, I believe the rule was anything submitted to GraalOnline. I don't remember submitting anything to GraalOnline. I remember submitting some graphics for some people to upload, but I never used the graphic submitter. Doesn't this mean that I have control over who can use my graphics?
