It was so much better back then. I think the turning point when Graal started spiraling downwards, was when hats got restocked. The economy on Graal was okay until there was a flood of hats and they lost all value.

I think these things kind of ruined 2k1:

cyberpoc bomies (when you could no longer program them)
hat restocking (when even the rarest hats became obtainable to all)
all the godforsaken lights and wild tiling (when birdbird started massively "facelifting" the server)
when Stefan stopped updating 2k1 (basically this was the biggest reason)

If all that never happened, 2k1 would still rock. Kamuii, you're just afraid to face the facts. You know what would bring me back to 2k1? A total reset, and a new system of doing things. (making items and money rare again, making more things players could buy and claim as their own, such as houses or bomies)

The fact that 2k1 needs to be reset and planned better. It seems you just want to ignore this and keep 2k1 the way it is. At this point I don't think anyone would really care about being reset. I have been against it for the longest time and now I would rather lose my hundreds of hats, bomy, and 10k+ gralat, and house, just to have fun on 2k1 like I did when I first upgraded. :(

First off, I know there are people who would care about being reset because in one of the reset polls there WERE people who complained. Some people like to keep what they had.

I'm not trying to keep 2k1 the way it is; since your account's winding down, you haven't paid attention to anything I've been doing lately, have you? I'm not trying to seem snappy, but I am a bit peeved. I've been trying to redistribute hats because I think that everyone deserves a fair chance at getting them; they're for everyone, not just a select group of people. The redistribution of hats and dolls, etc. slowly begins to remove the economy basis of the server so that everything is not gralat-centric.

I'm sorry you can't have fun anymore on 2k1 like you did when you first upgraded, but the world doesn't revolve around you, man. There are still 200+ players a day that have fun playing on the server, and I aim to serve them.

Besides, a reset would completely mess up ALL of my planned projects.

There would be no point in a total reset.

Like people have said, it'd just come back in 7 months.

I would check your stats again Kamuii. I would estimate about only 150 people are active on 2k1 now.

I don't know what you have planned, or what you've released. I just know I want to upgrade my account, but I want a reason. Not just "well I'm making all the hats you've collected worthless by distributing them to everyone". I'm not the only one that has this opinion. Whenever you do something to 2k1 you say it's for the good of the server, even if the majority of the people that play don't agree. I feel you do what YOU want, and not what the players want.

Go ahead and get angry at me, I'm just trying to tell you what I think. I read the other day when people said "what if we can't find anything to do on 2k1" and you replied "find something else to do" or something similar. I should be able to get on 2k1 and have something to do that I can't do on free servers. I have yet to see anything fun lately.

We shouldn't have to make up our own fun on 2k1. When I get on 2k1 now, I just sit there. I have nothing to do. I have a bomy, I have all the hats I want, all the dolls I want, and I have a house. I have nothing left to do, please explain what else there is to do on 2k1 at the moment or in the future.

I read it, I see nothing of interest. 50% of the post deals with gani fixing, bug fixing, and npc rescripting. None of that will actually affect the players much, and none of that is going to make my time on 2k1 much funner.

Then there are some quests, and new areas. Aside from that, not much. What will there be to keep people occupied? Quests are finished within minutes, towns/new areas are impressive for a day. (look at the sewers and slums)

I want to see new things that I can DO. The power draisine is the only thing that seems like something I could use, but then again, it doesn't seem like it will be something I could do all day long.

How about some nice new events? More new items that have a purpose? I can thing of dozens of things that would add something new to actually do on the server.

A lot of it will affect the players. Again, since you haven't been on much, a lot of scripts are bugged and ganis messed up thanks to the new bodies, which were never fixed when they were originally added. Such things are being fixed, to make the playing experience more enjoyable.

Yeah, some new quests, some new areas, about five or six new jobs which I talk about briefly in the post since I don't want to give away too much.

There's a new event in the works, but I'm not going to talk much about it. It's top secret but think of it is a massively, massively upgraded Kingdom Games. Instead of being over in, say, half an hour or even less, the new event will span a week or more. There are new jobs, like mining in the Lava Mines which will be a lot trickier than outside mining, with a lot more nuances. Then there's the Restaurant which should open soon, once everything's done and scripted.

And as far as solid gameplay goes, I'm always taking advice on anything. If you have a suggestion, make it, but the total reset is and has been out of the question. For a long time.

I hate to agree with konidias. if there are less then 30 players online, there is NOTHING to do. I can try to sell some hats, but I'll end up wasring my time. What we need is a 1 player games and time wasters. casino can be a nice way out. I have suggested Casino for so long now! I wouldn't mind rolling 2 dices, or rullet, while I am waiting for my friends to get on. Those 1 handed robber machines can even be turned into mini game!

If I can think of all of that, why can't you? It isn't all that hard to script either! In fact it's really simple! You can even make ownership of tables. say I buy out Rulet table, and so if someone wins money come from my pocket, but if someone looses, money flow into my pocket. I don't belive that it's THAT hard to make simple stuff like that, and it will entertain people for long time to come!
