That'd be cool, but what would be the problem with supporting HEX or so?

I think the option to use either a color name (like the 150 html colors Stefan stated) or a hex value would be grand :)

Yep, either of these would make such a difference. I hope this finally comes to Graal.

Assuming Stefan is talking about the web safe color palette that features 216 colors it'd be something like this, which really is more than enough..
