I wouldn't do a project with an economy, especially if you're new to development. I'd focus on complete arcade-style gameplay. You could unlock better guns by missions or achievements.

I would like to comment that the graphics of these server were posted in a public graphics thread... Before this server used them Aeko (Clockwork) used them on his server before it went Testbed. All in all, do not give this person credit over these images. They are a public release.

Uhh well just a suggestion, how about you make it where theres no econemy, the guns are free, but you have to find the guns all around the gmap along with ammo and explosives and plenty of other military things. Story: Military came here to stop zombies and failed and left endless supplies of weaponary, explosives, heavy artillery and so on.
I think this would create more exploration and make it a lot better on the server as something new and different to modern servers. Please reply back. |

I think making the assumption that this will be a era/ghetto duplicate is just as criminal as the person making the duplicate server. Give the guy suggestions, don't attack him.

My thoughts:
1. Every hour spawns a ton of zombies on the gmap 2. Everything not bolted to the ground is moveable to create barriers. 3. Inner City to defend (most protected wont die as much) 4. Outer City to scavenge (you're pretty much a sitting duck to zombies) 5. If you don't want strictly PVE you can have people select between Classes/Races IE: Good Human (Does things without being bad) Bad Human (Kills other Human players for supplies or cash for supplies) Zombie (Incredible Speed and Melee will be hard to make balanced vs guns) 6. Repair Kits that you can buy from the inner city or scavenge in the outer city 7. If you're going to do a achievement/experience thing for better weapons and perks.. then. If zombies achieve destroying the inner city they get exp towards leveling. If you're a human then killing zombies and successfully repairing blockades give exp. I'm sure I missed a few points but this is a starter. |
