It's a big deal because hes under the false impression that he's quit Graal.

Switch 04-05-2008 10:35 PM

Wow. Fine.
If it makes you guys that much ****ing happier I'll stop looking at the forums for good.

That's because of poor management from those servers. That isn't Stefan's fault.
Which is why he has to talk to their managers. So yes, it's partly his fault.

More often then not, emails sent to Unixmad get caught by his spam filter because he gets a lot of spam. Just resend the email with a "did you get this?" in there or so.
THEN WHAT GOOD IS HAVING A ****ING EMAIL!?!? "did you get this?" IS PART OF SPAM FILTERS.

MysticX2X 04-05-2008 10:38 PM

I personally don't care if he wants to be with us or not. If he wants to post, fine. If he doesnt thats ok too. Same thing applied for graal. You're making a big deal just off one person.

10 minutes ago they released a new shop.

DustyPorViva 04-05-2008 10:40 PM

So wait... if I choose to be a part of a community of a game that means I play the game? So that means I could start posting in a WoW community forums and it'd qualify me as a player? Whooooa... I can finally play WoW for free on my ****ty computer!

Now that's how you properly quit!

It makes you part of the WoW community, meaning you are a part of WoW. Like Switch is a part of Graal.

DustyPorViva 04-05-2008 10:45 PM

Most e-mail filters are crap. They junk legitimate e-mails but let most spam go through. They should just remove the crap, it doesn't work because in the end everyone has to go through their inbox and junk box to make sure nothing important was junked. It's completely retarded.

kia345 04-05-2008 10:49 PM

But if he has an email, why not use it?

hah, isn't that like pretended Honey O's is really Honey Nut Cheerios? WoW has unofficial servers if you really cannot afford the monthly, but I am sure me posting a url would be against rules or something.

Why does Switch have to quit the Forums? Graal is one thing and Forums are another. Alot of people dont play Graal but like to discuss on Forums..There's nothing bad about it.

There's no problem with he's staying. He's free to quit the game and still be here. But he's quit the client, then went on to say "I quit Graal", yet he remains here - here being part of the game. These forums are Graal. If he wants to proudly quit Graal, he'll need to actually quit; the game, the forums, everything. Until then, he's quit nothing.

DustyPorViva 04-06-2008 03:45 AM

Yes, because when you quit smoking, be sure you completely cut and relations with anyone else who smokes!

Twinny 04-06-2008 03:52 AM

Stop giving attentions to fools who thrive on it. The more you talk about this, the longer he will remain.

If you were to compare what Switch has done with smoking, you'd end up with something like a guy who claims to quit smoking, but still does it when he's in a place filled with smokers. He never quit it to begin with.

MysticX2X 04-06-2008 05:51 AM

Graal and the forums are 2 different things. The forums are a discussion about graal.

[email protected] 04-06-2008 08:09 PM

This is going WAY off topic...
ONTOPIC NOWS.

kia345 04-06-2008 08:10 PM

This is all on topic, we're discussing his "quitting".

If this is true why do we need to have a Gold/VIP account on Graal to be able to use forums?

You misunderstand him(Mystic), I think, if the way I see it is what he wanted to get across, Graal is the game itself, while the forums are something entirely different in the way that it doesn't always revolve around the game.
This is a Forum and that is the game. Although, the forum is used for people to talk about the game, it also opens doorways for communication, threw PMs, and NGR. And also, the forums are not simply something you have to play the game to be a part of, its a community, where you can talk, and read about what others are doing, and such.

And, to put it in retrospect, the forums, and the game are two different things, as the forums are where you put ideas, and talk about subjects (one big discussion), and the game is where you play, and also you play the ideas, that were used and created.

Also, I am pretty sure when he meant he quit graal he quit the game, and it is possible people quit playing the game, and still view the forums, and post and comment.

xAzerothx 04-06-2008 09:40 PM

When someone says they're a "proud Graal quitter" it means they quit all of Graal.

I saw no place where Switch said, "I'm a proud Graal Quitter", he said he quit Graal, and will be on the forums from time to time. Graal referring to the Game, I am guessing, if not then your point is valid.

kia345 04-06-2008 10:11 PM

His sig has the exact words, "Proud Graal quitter". He has not quit Graal because he has not quit participating in Graal's day to day activities.

That's mainly because of Stefan/Unix. It's retarded that we have to... but that's just the way it is.

Very.

He quit half of Graal, but stays active in the other half. So he hasn't really quit, just participates less.

Your smoking comparison claims that these forums are the only possible way to speak with people he knows from Graal. If he wants to speak with them about something non-Graal related, get msn or AIM or something. If he needs to stay here to talk, it's clear he doesn't want to leave Graal behind.

DustyPorViva 04-07-2008 02:11 AM

You don't play on the damn forums.

xAzerothx 04-07-2008 02:17 AM

He didn't quit all of Graal, therefore he fails.

So these forums =/= Graal? Damn, here I thought the whole reason I was able to post here was because I played Graal. I'll remember that when I meet someone looking for some decent forums, anyone can post here, since these forums have nothing to do with Graal!

No, these forums are part of Graal. To be here is to be on Graal.

DustyPorViva 04-07-2008 02:55 AM

It's just the community. It's not playing the game, it may be keeping in touch with the game, but you can quit and still stick around the forums. I would say quitting the game and the forums is two separate things.

Is it really that hard to understand?
You know what this really means? The game is so boring people start to associate the forums as a majority of the game instead of just being what they are--forums.
So does posting on unofficial Graal forums keep you a player of Graal?

Switch 04-07-2008 03:03 AM

ok
My friend Yoy told me what you were all sayin (he browses the forums once in a while)
I've changed the sig and the User Title.
Now you know I quit the GAME.
Happy?

Oh and just to make it clear
I'm only here until my graal time runs out or if theres an actual good update for a change that's worth playing again for.
And I'll help with animations for Zone for a bit longer if you guys (staff) ask.

I'm gonna make ganis for Zone so the GAME CAN BE BETTER FOR THOSE WHO PLAY. THIS IS NOT PLAYING GRAAL AT ALL.

You could just go, "I'll do what I'll do and to hell with those who want to make **** of it". Instead, you need to argue your point using the most stupid methods.

Hato can make Great Ganis to you know.

xAzerothx 04-07-2008 03:39 AM

I guess Switch isn't needed.

kia345 04-07-2008 03:47 AM

So you quit, we say you don't. You defend the fact you're quitting, while we still say you've done nothing. Now you're back, only this time you have a bulletproof excuse.

All in a matter of...3 days?

Dude, just leave and get on with live. You're still young, there's time to leave before Graal takes what's left of your soul.
