and wheres the prob with that ? i look at the works not i do a screen open paint and cut out the tiles lol i look at the games from square enix because i want to find out what a tileset need to have this flair of this old snes games "color palette, outlines, design" and than i find "my own way"
thats the point why my tilesets never looks so epic like them from square enix
its much easier to copy paste al things but i dont do that and thats the point why esteria isnt finished yet its a hard work what i do and this not for me ... no ... for the players
but i ask myself why i should finish my tilesets for people like you...

He has probably made the most complete tileset on graal and even if it is inspired by other games it still looks great.

Motivate them to bring some gameplay to their tiles. I just want a damn good server to play on. Cause personally if this game doesnt go somewhere in Summer 07 Im gone. Shiz I barely log on as it is.

i should make a server called crfono triggur, ill be inspired by just about everything from chrono trigger and make the graal characters look almost exactly like the ones from chrono trigger

but nothing on our server looks like things from other games crono
and they will never do this because all my tiles are done in graal style
and you cant copy things from snes games or what ever exactly because
they using 8x8 pixel tiles not 16x16 pixel tiles like graal
the only thing you get out than is fat outlines and 2x2 big pixels XD

my tilesets have only the flair of the snes games but the tiles are completly different

and when someone using a tileset from rpgmaker xp with permission its his thing not yours
be happy that there is a new server with a good tileset

at the beginning all in graal was "really" stolen the servers was out of "webgifs" you find on
evry ugly hp on the www and no ones was screaming its stolen close the server or what ever

and i hope you do the chrono trigger server with your own designed tiles sprites and alll this things
inspired by the game because chrono trigger was a great game :P

Crono I didnt want to read all of the last stuff, but did you ever tried to really be inspired by an SNES game and make your very own graphic after being inspired? If you have no graphics skills whatsoever, it will just look ugly. And Angelu has graphic skills damnit. And these graphics are not stolen. Dont you know some situations like "Mh what do I want to put in the upper left cornor in my level? I guess I will check out Zelda (or some other game) and look what they did to make it look good."
Ask the graphics d00ds from famous games, they will tell you they got inspired by something. I read in an interview that some of the graphics makers of Spellforce were inspired by an old SNES game.

It all looks great and the tileset is beautiful, and is a blast to level with. I am currently working on some tryout levels for you guys if you are still hiring.
