Oh yea, i think the whole custom character thing looks bad. It doesnt even look graal. The classic ones are better.

its all a matter of opinion...I really don't like the classic bodies but I dont ***** at Stefan to change them....The Atrius bodies arn't perfect but they look pretty cool.

The tiles are decent but for the bodies you might want to look at your, and other peoples bodies to see how the shading and movement work. Gani's for bodies could be so much better.

I know you try and convey that guns arent what the server is about, but I bet you that it will end up that way, whether you want it to or not.

its really the ganis and not the gfx i think also its the knees they seem to just shoot your ler up like - insted of bending but may just be me.

They aren't fluent, that's the problem. I think they probably need more sprites between actions if that makes sense.

Era is run by corrupt staff, all the scripts are old, the only thing you do on era is mine and shoot people. Atrius is so much more.

Gman, Atrius stole all of Eras content. LOL.

Obviously you haven't played Atrius? We indeed have mining and shooting, because that is a part of real life in a run-down city full of gangs and violence. But we tend to stick with a more realistic view and don't have trash picking or flower picking. I'd like to see someone in a gang go picking flowers and trash for money. Try getting your facts straight before you go lying about a server.

Fact: Most modern server aka Era knock offs are ran by players either banned from Era or exiled from Era because they couldn't get their way.

Fact: Era doesn't have corrupt staff members. It hasn't for over a year now ever since Chrisz stepped down (I'm not saying Chrisz was corrupt. Some staff under him were).

I wouldn't go as far as saying that. There have been cases of staff members being corrupt, but they've been dealt with as far as we all know.
So, there WERE corrupt staff, and there may continue to be corrupt staff, but they're being dealt with instead of ignored.
I think that would be a more accurate statement.

Which isn't very surprising out of an Era knock-off. No matter how realistic you get, there will always be hoards of people who recognize this server only as a complete rip off of Era.

The mine looks very similar to Era's mine.

Graal Kingdoms has mining, does that mean it stole it from Era? No... Shooting people...you could shoot people with bows on classic....Guns are just new bows :) But yeah I guess flower picking would be a rip off from Era.

Graal Kingdoms doesn't use a drill to mine. They use a PICKAXE!!

Eh, I feel you guys are a little bit harsh on Atrius.. I mean Era's had it's glory, I think it's time for someone else to shine. Sure Era was made first, doesn't always mean they're copying them. Justin (madj) goes for orginality, In the end Atrius will look/resemble NOTHING like Era. The ItemSystem is different, the tiles are completely different. Aswell as the GFX. Justin makes his OWN stuff, he's made atleast 1,500 images for Atrius. I had them all in a folder and I did ctrl+a and it said 'You have selected 1542 items'. So, no doubt in my mind madj makes his own GFX. Now I think you guys are bashing on Atrius, in it's previous version. Yea that copied Era sorta, but now it's new. Everything's fresh. If Atrius keeps going, I gurantee it will beat out Era, eventually.

So, chill out. Give Atrius a chance, they'll show you whats up. :cool:

Well, I won't argue that Atrius is a well built server, and I might not mind playing on it every once in a while, but I just think that so many people wont like it.

Oh, by the way, I have an idea to make it more realistic.
You should have to have licences to carry a weapon, and weapons should be illegal in some places. If you dont have a licence, or if you carry the weapon somewhere where it's illegal, if there are officers there they can fine or arrest you. =]

Yea, that's one of the plans, that is if they stick to it. Full automatic guns won't be at like public shops "OH COME BUY OUR FULLY AUOTMATIC GUNZ" it's gonna be Black Market, Weapon shop style. If they stick with their plans.. But then again Gman's informed me that they may be moving to a different basis besides Graal. Atrius as a MMORPG. Might be quit nice. :eek:
