G1998 now = G2000. All the old stats have been wiped, all the old buggy quests are back. Be happy, because I don't intend to update it yet again to yet another pack of levels that someone insists really represents the glory days of Graal.

Pity, becaause I still say that 12/2000 is the glory day pack, but it's your server, so keep it earlier in 2000 if you really want.

But if it were my server, I'd go with December 2000....

If I ever get the time and inclination I may fix it up in that direction; however, it'd be less hassle to fix the extant pack than to manually convert an entirely different pack. XP

Nem said he'd see about hiring some staff for G2K0 if it becomes popular again...as it stands though, average of 10 players at a time, 10% staff = 1 staffer...

Hiring some 'staffers' for G2000 would probably benefit it, and increase playercount, cause they will know that someone is there to inforce the rules.

Not missing, bad links. Uppercase links to lowercase levels. I fix them as I find them, but I can't exactly batch/search for all uppercase letters. =_=;

I'll start writing them down for you as I find them. :)

Also I think you are actually missing levels as well. Because if there wasnt a link you could still see the level but couldnt go on it. But the levels show up as just plain empty grass levels that you can run across. Let me get the level names for you.

Tyhm / Nemesis can you put a rush on hiring for Graal2000 staff (GP) / (FAQ) - (Graal Help)? We need someone to go on and ban people. If we could have an application or something, maybe someone can get hired soon?

Hmm ok my level pack must be slightly more recent because it says level45.nw belongs there. This is about 6-8 months before I started playing though. :)

Also in regards to the hacker I took the liberty of getting some screen shots of him hacking and his profile.

This screen shot is of him swimming around us in level9.nw After he got mad about getting beaten badly by Maximus and I (at seperate times) According to him he could hack too in which we responded to by laughing at him for accusing us of using trainers and lagging him to death.

Also people come play its a great server. :D aside from some minor bugs mostly being missing graphics. I made my own graal.png for Maximus and I so we could get the last graal. :D

Tyhm, could you upload the graphics for the mace, I have it, and its invisable, and still hurts people. Its kinda unfair, like elven blast (is that up yet? or is this the version where it was removed?)

...? That's odd...I doubt it's lack of graphics so much as calling the wrong imagefiles - gifs, or something...

not to sound naggy, but Tyhm can you nag Nemesis to hire someone for Graal2000? Its going unpoliced, and No Graal Help. Nemesis hasn't been on at all, actually no global staff have at all :(

We think its graphics. Because the yellow graal and alot of other graphics are missing but when we make our own and save it under the name it shows up. :) It's how we got our last graal I opened up my level pack checked the file name made a .png and .gif version of the graphic and then we got it. :D

It defies logic, and as such is beyond my power to repair. The NPC code is fine, it works as it is supposed to, it uses the weapon image as the display image - it should work.

Not if we dont have the graphics. :D it works we just cant see it. Same with alot of the npc's Some such as the boomerang and graal we made graphics for. :) We just need the graphics. :O Maximus is afk right now making some I think.

Yes its the graphics the ones Maximus just made are working :D I think the script has it set as .gif while the ftp has it as .png?

Isnt idling illegal? Pirat has been idling in foxtunnel.nw for days his hours are like 400 something and he has nothing. No hearts npcs etc.. x.x I'm sure he's done the same on 2k1 and classic since he has over 2k hours on both of those as well. He was on for 8 hours yesterday and is on right now. I think he logs in then goes to school. x.x

I had just thought of another place to go vampgrave2.nw I pull out my shovel dig in the grave then I get a loading/failed/loadingfailed over and over until I step off the spot I dug. Is this a bug that is supposed to be there? Or is it one that came up due to the conversion. ;x

1) It's PNG, it's on the server, folders are configured correctly, therefore it SHOULD route wmace.png and wmace0.png. In fact, if it didn't route wmace.png, you can't see the weapon icon to pick it up in the first place!
2) Idling's illegal and Nem's not responding
3) That grave has not worked at any point to my knowledge, not even in the G1998 levels pack. I checked. It needs a level that has never been on the server, or that was on in a pack I don't possess - but it wasn't there in 2000 when I started playing in any eventuality.

its odd maximus made some graphics and last I heard they where working but needed the transparency. I'm sure he'll post an update. Same problem with the shovel no graphics or gani's working for it but it digs :D but with out the gani you can dig over and over really fast as you run. Either way thanks for all the work you've put into this server so far making it function properly. Its awesome. :D

and just like clock work Pirat is back again today idling as usual. :O

It is .gif extention, apon me making a levelshot (alt+5) checked the graphics they used but weren't showing, and yes, it was wmace.gif, and wmace0.gif that were supposed to show. I took wmace2.png, and wmace3.png, and then renamed them. But yes, the transparency is messed ;)
And we all hope that Nemesis comes out from hiding soon, a couple of hackers were on today :(. One's account is uSmAd, he was using wall hacks, and faster sword swing, but strangly no god hack.

once again please hire a gp or some one who will be on 2000 to ban people. x.x there was one guy blocking newbies from crossing the river for an hour. x.x

Although once I got him to turn it off he was a decent sparrer and tried to hold the castle by blocking it with statues while we stormed the defenses. :x so its not all bad. Meh but rules are rules. :)

I don't think Tyhm has power to add people to GP database / give out rights like that o:
