its not 2002 material, now dont get me wrong, that is betetr thn i could ever do, but its just not for 2002. the arms are, they are cool, but not the body

1) Clothes should be in chests in houses. If possible, you should need the owner's permission to open it - ie throw a pot at the Palma sisters' bookcase to knock down the book, then she says thank you and you can open the chest to get the change of clothes (a window comes up where you can swap yours for the chest's, or you get two two apparel items, for the old suit and the new suit).
2) I sent in lots of hairs and a few ganis. Pir liked some of the hairs, but still they're not up. Whatever.
3) Reset+RPG=BAD. Always adjust whenever possible. Given that the only thing to do is build swordlevel and hoarde supplies, setting us back to 0 is painful - it's not like we can remember how we did the quest last time and get all our stuff back in a few hours by playing smarter like on Classic. If boards become twice as hard to get, reduce everyone's boards by half. If there's an infinite diamonds problem, restore diamonds from a backup before the breach. While I realize you're probably planning on doing a wipe when it goes beta and a wipe when it goes final, it's gonna suck and it's gonna piss me right off - I worked for this stuff, there hasn't been any playing involved yet.

thym, i would take the rpg+reset thing into consideration IF we had more to offer. about now the only thing i would want to keep is my karate training level.

My idea was that you can buy cloths parts from a cloths shop like the pants,shirt,and sleeve but there would be a limited supply and you go to a taylor and you would need to give him something so he can sew the 3 parts together to make a body and once he's done you can wear it

the "taylor" sounds like that Buffalo Bill guy from Silence of the Lambs.

That's actually an excellent idea. Only, maybe he doesn't need to sew them together, you just choose three to use.

They were right to say that. I was patient at first when he said it wasn't done, after 6 months of delays, I was ready to see it released no matter what the hell it was like. The only thing I don't like about it is the players, too many idiots and PKers.

I don't hate 2k2, I think it's fun. I'm not really upset over being reset, although it does suck.

I got the ring from someone else. Somebody, I don't remember who, came up and dropped it and said I could have it. I didn't glitch anything or cheat. I don't see what the point of a reset was, since this is just an alpha version, why does it have to be done to "make it fair to players"?

I'm not playing the alpha or probably beta versions as I said in my post, but I didn't say I wouldn't play official 2k2. I just don't want to play 2k2 anymore until it's finished so I don't get mad when something gets reset or the like.

I'm not complaining, I was just stating my dilemma and wondering why it was done. I don't know WHY Stefan thinks that it's fun to have to get everything you worked for all over again. Maybe Stefan should play his own game more often and find out just how NOT fun it can be to have to get everything you worked for reset. :(

I'm just trying to warn people in advance (especially Stefan) that if this kind of reset thing happens when 2k2 is completed and running, there are going to be unhappy people. Staff NEVER think about how bad it is for the players to lose stuff. I should know, I was part of the staff on 2k1 for a while, and I noticed how much the other staff didn't care about the players stuff. (such as Loriel resetting people because of a glitch instead of just removing the one item they had duplicated) :(

I think 2k2 is nice, and I hope it will be even better when fully done. I'm just not going to waste my time doing everything there is to do now, just to be mad when it gets reset and bored when I have done everything before the server is even really done.

I was reset too, by Er1c. He told me he did it, after I massed, I was pissed off. I left for a few days and came back to redo everything which is hell now, especially since gold is hard as hell to find. I have most of my items back now, so it's fine I guess.

I'm not really mad at Er1c but I think that he made a bad decision in reseting accounts instead of just erasing the ring and the 3 other items I had from the bug. :(

I can help you get some of your stuff back since it's partially my fault that you lost them.

Maybe next time the staff could send a mass stating that illegal items will result in reset accounts so players can get rid of them or something. I mean it's not our faults we got caught up in a bug. We shouldn't be reprimanded for being warped by the server to the wrong island.

i say, for now on we will tell you before we reset you. and there is allot more to delete than three or four items, theres flags and .server crap i think too. sorry

Currently you can play on Graal2002 to see the things we add and are working on, if you want to keep the items go on Graal2001. I don't think there is currently much use of the items other than checking them out and having fun with them.

I know it's only temporary stuff, and that is why I'm not going to play now because I want to wait until the stuff I get wont get reset, and when the testing is over. :)
