She's excluded. She's a hazzard to the race of humans, not just Graal staff. ;) You know. One day. I'd like. To. Call up to. Canada. to her. house. And tell her. "1-800-98-Jenny". Seriously. I know I'm not supposed to make remarks about that, but it is sickening. Oh my part (see above when I filled the survey out)... I didn't add Galen to the überhelpful list. :) |

Re: player questionnare! answer please
1) how many alias, accounts or handles have you went through during your experiences with Graal?
Alias: 1 Accounts: 4 Handles: 1 2) if you could change one thing about Graal, what would it be? I'd just let ir run as it is, though some more paying methods might be useful to add. 3) who's the best staff you've met or ask for help, did they seem helpful or fatigued and just wanted to do their job? Galen, he's probably the only one I ever did ask for help anyway. 4) who's the worst staff you've met or ask for help, did they seem annoyed or did they just threaten you until you found someone else? Unixmad!!!! (Just kidding, I can't answer this one) 5) how long have you been playing Graal, refrain from versions? Erm, I've been playing for about a year and a half. 6) do you think staff are fair and listen to the players or just want in the lime-light? Depends on server and staff member, plus I don't really know since I'm not that inclined to saying to every staff member "Hey dude, are you helpful?" 7) would you consider Graal a fun game or addictive one or both? It's fun, and probably addicttive, otherwise I'd have left ages ago. 8) if you had to weigh the advantages and disadvantages of this game, which would triumph? Depends, I'm not really a fan of online play, I mostly go for the scripting, and that certainly is an advantage... Bleh, just make it advantages I guess. 9) look back on your favorite playerworld or server of all time, what was it and why was it your favorite? Graal Classic, just because it used to have big toall community. 10) you've finaly quit Graal, what was the one thing you took with you that you were happy you played for; the friends I met, hours of fun gameplay or nothing at all and this game will never bring anyone satisfying gameplay! As I already said, the scripting is what kept me. 11) where will Graal be 3-5 years down the road, in your opinion? Either gone or remade into a 3d form. |

1) how many alias, accounts or handles have you went through during your experiences with Graal? 5 or 6 2) if you could change one thing about Graal, what would it be? Playerworld Management 3) who's the best staff you've met or ask for help, did they seem helpful or fatigued and just wanted to do their job? Birdbird_0, seemed tired, but still very friendly and willing to help. 4) who's the worst staff you've met or ask for help, did they seem annoyed or did they just threaten you until you found someone else? ... the ones who ignore you when you ask them a simple question. 5) how long have you been playing Graal, refrain from versions? 4-5 years on and off. 6) do you think staff are fair and listen to the players or just want in the lime-light? some are dedicated, others just want the title. 7) would you consider Graal a fun game or addictive one or both? It is both if the management is good. 8) if you had to weigh the advantages and disadvantages of this game, which would triumph? Advantages 9) look back on your favorite playerworld or server of all time, what was it and why was it your favorite? Rudora, before Fox left, it was my favorite, because everything was planned out, the quests all connected to each other in one way or another, and all of the quests were creaitive and well done (read: not a normal "kill the 2000 badies" quest). The comunity was also fun because the staff was good and not corrupt (except for the new co-owners.) 10) you've finaly quit Graal, what was the one thing you took with you that you were happy you played for; the friends I met, hours of fun gameplay or nothing at all and this game will never bring anyone satisfying gameplay! I've tried to leave, it's not gonna happen, Graal will probably die before I "leave for good." I value the few friends I make on it. 11) where will Graal be 3-5 years down the road, in your opinion? Where Everquest is now :D |
Re: player questionnare! answer please
1) Accounts: 12
Alias: 5 Handles: 1 2) Shitty desicions, P2P prices, and lag. 3) Me. I've helped myself since day 1. 4) All FAQs on 2001, and Loriel. 5)4th and last year 6)LoL. As if someone who plays graal would actually 'help' others:rollseyes: 7)Neither 8)Disadvantages wins 10000000000 to 1 9)Celestia, Costa De Agua, Bravo Online. 10)My best memory would be 'quitting'. 11)It doesn't have 3-5 years left. And if it does, it will be 1 more piece of trash in the landfill the US government refuses to take blame for. |

1) I have had several accounts, but only to aliases. Those are "Spunky2000ca", which my old account was signed up under, and my current name, "Judge Spunky"
2) If I were to change something, I would change the overall attitude in the game. I have seen far too many people who go around talking gibberish, and doing nothing helpful, and being extremely disruptive. 3) Umm, I guess the most helpful staff I've seen would be Stefan. He has answered my questions when he had the time, and it certainly sounded as if he wasn't fatiqued. 4) I'm not going to mention names, as I have forgotten them, but I have tried, some time ago, to join events team. I was shunned away and given the reason, "No. You suck". 5) I've been playing Graal for a few years. I don't know when, because it slips my mind when I first started. As for what version, It was either the late 1.2's or the early 1.3's; I simply didn't pay attention to it at the time. 6) Generally, the staff are just there and don't seem to care much about the game they work for. But, on occasion, there is a staff member, that I find could easily be one of the best, if they were given the chance. 7) Graal is a fun game, with it being interchangeable. For this reason, I'm sure people find it addictive. I did at one point, but hardly much so now. 8) The advantages to this game by far surpass the disadvantages. While you do have a basic 2D gameplay, even that is slowly changing. We have Graal2k2 for example, and it has a flat looking, but 3 dimensional landscape. Another huge aspect for advantage, is that you can design and make things yourself. In this way, people are not confined to playing a single, overcrowded server, that gets an update every once in a while. 9) I'd say N-Pulse was my favourite playerworld. The main reason being that it was a nice change from Classic. When I first played, the classic server, as we call it now, was the only real playing server. Later, Lost World was released, but those playerworlds at that time were faulty and not very fun. N-Pulse, I feel, revolutionized the concept of playerworlds. 10) If I were to quit, I'd say the best thing, and the thing I took with me, is the time I spent with people. Even though the people are represented in pixels, their attitudes and personalitys are shown by how they look, talk and other things. 11) 3 or 5 years down the road, I think Graal will be both 3D and 2D. It would be cool to be able to play in the 3D aspect, but also very good if you wanted, you could go back to 2D. |

PlayerWorld Administration - these guys are the highest staff, right beside Stefan and Unixmad. they pertty much decide if a PW crashes or flies. they keep up to date on each server's content and make sure nothing illegal or bad is going on. also, they would teach new "higher staff" how to operate RC controls and how to be administer a server. I mean, come on, you don't just learn after night. this is probaly where most mistakes are made. okay, I'm done ranting now. I just realized that over half of that has already took affect, oh well. I didn't type all that for nothing. ;] |

1) how many alias, accounts or handles have you went through during your experiences with Graal?
--I have had quite a few accounts. Some were given to me. But my alias has always been DarkDragon. 2) if you could change one thing about Graal, what would it be? --More updates, and more reliable global admins that actually work (see: guilds) 3) who's the best staff you've met or ask for help, did they seem helpful or fatigued and just wanted to do their job? --Hmm hard question. Tyhm probably is the best staff. He's always helpful but sometimes a bit cranky (can ya blame him? 4) who's the worst staff you've met or ask for help, did they seem annoyed or did they just threaten you until you found someone else? --Probably some of the staff on New Main (wont say names). I asked about someone who had upgraded a friends account with a fake CC.. and the guy acted like the person didn't exist (in fact he was a fellow staff). 5) how long have you been playing Graal, refrain from versions? --A year and a half I think. Started the middle of last summer I think. 6) do you think staff are fair and listen to the players or just want in the lime-light? --Yes, some are, some aren't. I don't need their limelight. I don't want it. 7) would you consider Graal a fun game or addictive one or both? --Addictive, fun at first, the community brings you back though. Every update tends to make it fun for awhile. 8) if you had to weigh the advantages and disadvantages of this game, which would triumph? --Hard to say. I think they are pretty equal. 9) look back on your favorite playerworld or server of all time, what was it and why was it your favorite? --Classic, I started there. It has the most players (usually), and has all my friends. Not to mention the most organized staff I've seen. 10) you've finaly quit Graal, what was the one thing you took with you that you were happy you played for; the friends I met, hours of fun gameplay or nothing at all and this game will never bring anyone satisfying gameplay! --Eh? I would be happy that I played it. But I still do. 11) where will Graal be 3-5 years down the road, in your opinion? --At this rate it may dwindle. But I'm not a prophet. And I prefer to take things one day at a time. |
1) how many alias, accounts or handles have you went through during your experiences with Graal?
1 - itzmheck 2 - Mr. Bear 2) if you could change one thing about Graal, what would it be? Graal will never be perfect, graal staff will never be perfect. This game is was founded by volunteers of all ages. If there was one thing I could change society in general and graal it would be the fact that some people criticize so much instead of enjoying what is present. Stefan works hard and for the most part so do most the staff. Yes, some staff tend to be "corrupt" but this company does not make enough profit yet to start paying professionals. If you are tired of this system then why don't you pay Graal Online to have them hire professionals. 3) who's the best staff you've met or ask for help, did they seem helpful or fatigued and just wanted to do their job? 1) Galen 2) Stefan Knorr 3) Tyhm 4) KawaiiSaria 5) The Game (GP) 4) who's the worst staff you've met or ask for help, did they seem annoyed or did they just threaten you until you found someone else? - 5) how long have you been playing Graal, refrain from versions? Some are in for both the "lime-light" but at the same time working hard. Any regular staff still puts a lot of time into this game. Everyone that's worked for a good cause knows they have a brick in graals history wall. When it comes down to it it's about knowing you helped put a piece of this company together, not about who has the highest RC level. 7) would you consider Graal a fun game or addictive one or both? You know how many times other games update their software? A lot less often then stefan does and he's also basically the only CODER for this huge game. Instead of complaining (for those who do) put yourself in stefans shoes. He get's VERY personal with his players, he actually responds to your Forum requests. He cares and I would to if this was my source of income. When was the last time Stefan Knorr took a month vacation? |
