i dunno why, but alot of my friends had to quit because of the cussing crap..there could be a option about blocking cussing in text, pms, and in toalls (if possible)

No human classes. However, there should be two or three races, each capable of all the skills, but with different strengths. For instance, say you just have dwarves, humans, elves, and a race of mages (get creative, make one up). All of them can use normal weapons, and all can use magic, but a dwarve's magic will be considerably weaker than a mage's. Elves can run faster and have better accuracy with the bow, but have weaker defense and physical defense than a dwarve, who are much stronger than the other races, but slower.

If I were to make a playerworld with classes, I'd make some menu that was scripted so that it would reset your class flags if you wanted to so that you could try another class. Delete the class weapons, of course.

Also, do away with the "healing beds" things. Instead, use health potions which need to be purchased beforehand, similar to the food system 2k1 has (which nobody uses, since they can just run to Godspeed's).

Also, slower regen time. I'm trying to think of a way to keep players from respawning during an RP battle, while keeping them from having to sit around dead for several hours. I don't like the idea of warping them away, and the only alternative, really, is making death very undesirable. Dropping items might do the trick, but doesn't solve the problem of rabid PKers.

Classes should depend on the skills your character has (that is, there are going to be skills in Graal2002, right?)
I think that when you want to choose a class, you would first need to have the minimum skills required for that class. Then you would have the option to choose that class. If you wish to have cross-classes, you would have to develop your other skills, but that would be hard and you would only be able to do so with 2-3 other skills.

I dunno. o.o;


And I really want different fighting tactics which would matter in battle, and to be able to plan my own tactic like the Romans did. O.o;

Couple more ideas...

- Different battle moves. So, lets say we select the "Sword Combat Moves" NPC. When it's selected, pressing "A" might parry, "S" will slash, "F" will riposte, etc.

- Several different weapons. Such as spears, staves, clubs, polearms, etc.

- You should sloooowly regenerate hearts naturally. For example, 6 seconds for one half heart to be recovered.

is just a thought about when people die. Why not if someone dies they get warped to the nearest town as a ghost. Then they have to find there body or go to a church for a priest to merge his soul with his body again.

By the looks of the screenshots posted it doesnt look like there using hearts.
It looks like there using numbers like in FF.

I also really like the food idea someone mentioned. Go too long without it, and you'll begin to lose strength, and eventually perish. A castle can have a stockpile somewhere if they choose, in case of a siege where they are unable to leave the castle and purchase more. Run out of food, everyone dies, lose the castle. <3

Slower than that, I think, if there was to be such a thing. I personally wouldn't like that, I still prefer health potions.

Yeah, if there was food then there could actually be a use for a kingdom chef. He could make food in kitchens and sell it to the troops for a price or something.

Hmm :-| , I think the soldiers should get free food beacuse they help the kingdom defeating enemys ..
also I like the idea that you die and you have go to a church to start living again that would stop pk:ing , but you would lose all your things is also that would be more realistic.
But I don't like the food idea to much ..I think that if you rest in a bed or eat you can get life back but you shouldn't be able to die without food maybe after a graalian week and you haven't been eating anything you die , but to eat evryday would take up to much time from the actual gameplay.But if you eat very much you should be able to get fat

On the contrary, food would add to the gameplay. It would allow for real sieges on castles and towns, and add to the roleplaying atmosphere.

Alright, is this going to be a medieval server or a fantasy server? Because a fantasy server would include mages. Medieval would have no magic whatsoever because there was none back then. Last time I checked, this server was medieval...

1) Things should be more dang interactive.
Like with the toarch and stuff you should be able like to light things on fire in certian areas but make things more interavite for the player
2) Redesgined bombs, dont make em in a dang form like + that
it dont make scence. Make it in like a rounded thing or a new GFX al together,
3)Paused only can be used in certian areas
I hate it when people pause in the middel of a kingdom war. It should be only like inside or in towns or in specifcly no PK areas. OR ge rid of the whole tdamn g thing toegther.
4) New weapons of coarse. An I like the ideas of breakable swords. There SHOULD be seige weapons becuase theres no realy suck a war were its just swords.
5) What about horses! The horse GFX should be updated. Make hitching posts so you can hutch up a hors eto it so you dont have to go looking for one.
6) New jobs, Blacksmith for sworeds and shields and armour
Tailor For making clothes and boots to possibly make you go faster baker and famrer and so on.
7)Unstick me. What about that dang command? Is it use fulll in a graal world thats suposed to be realistic? But it has to be used only if your really stuck. There should be like an update on that where it knows if your stuuck or not.
8) Different jobs. Rename like police or something because thats not mid evil(sp?)


err....

9) Things that only kingdoms know about. Secret passages and things should be made for kingdoms to evade or make an attack seeing thats what Graal 2002 is based around is kingdoms.

Magic is a prequisite for roleplaying, and it shouldnt be strict medeivel, it has to keep some of its Zelda theme.

It would have to be legitimate magic, no stupid spells like Armageddon where the whole screen goes on fire or something. Defensive spells are really the only ones that should be casted

Better boats, not ones that go sideways and backwards, but they turn (8 way sprites?) And if you dont latch them up to a dock they float away! :O Also, if your in the water but close enough to shore, you can get hurt but thrown spears, and arrows, and if you're really close, a sword... Make grappling hooks so you can scale castle walls, but people can cut the rope and watch you fall to your doom... the higher up you are when you fall, the more damage you recive when you land...
